Peeterson, 13 Jan 2014does the Z10 have android features?The latest OS version for the Z10 (10.2.1.1925) has an unlocked Android runtime. That means you can directly install .apk Android files.

I bougt Z10 a few days ago. I am an old BB fan and for sure I experienced the worst experience on a blackberry phone ever. BB 10 is a failure. BB have no future. An OS based on web os is power hungry and BB 10 is not user friendly, anyway. Bb 9700 is a beautiful dream....

I have recently upgraded from 10.1 to 10.2.0.424. I experience fast draining of battery? any solution for it? or should i go back to old version of OS?

BlackBerry can't update those Apps by itself.

BB 10 doesn't need Bis to push email or sth else.
Just register which Data package that suit for you.
It's great cause you haven't had Bis for ur only choice anymore.

Great Device, especially if you load up the new leak allowing you to install android apk files directly from the device.

agreed. . with all thr BlackBerry users.. .but tell me about wifi direct feature. .this is d best feature I came across in many of the smartphones. BlackBerry does not hav it. .

well worth the buy but had issues with mine when on loud it didnt ring [on loud but acts like its on silent], possible software issue... covered 2 phone and issue is still there. en route to the shop again! def not a user error as this has been check out stores

Hi, I'm planning to buy this phone and as I read the comments, I need to update the OS. Anyone can help me with that? Where could I download it and how can I know that it's already installed and my OS is already updated. I never used BB devices before. It's my first time to use this brand.

What a dissappointment!!!! ...no BIS in blackberry 10 phones. :( ..this is the only thing I had to return the phone back.

Why BlackBerry don't want to up to date all their native apps such as fb, wechat just to name a few equal as what ios n android offer...
Just because we can use android apps? Yes I can download Android apps into my Z10 but most of it not linked with BlackBerry Hub so often missed on notification. For example, wechat android version, we can make videocall but once we close the app, we can't receive any incoming video calls, sms, mention via BlackBerry Hub. We have to let wechat to run in the background to receive notification via wechat not BlackBerry Hub. BlackBerry wechat, we can only use as a sms/mms n voice note ONLY.
For BlackBerry to depend too much on android apps is just such a waste.
BlackBerry should build their own apps equal to what ios n android can offer to compete with the rest.
Sorry to say this but that the fact we as a BlackBerry users have to face...
