I have been using the blackberry z10 for 1 and a half years. I bought it because i was a fan of the bb10 os,and ofcourse because i could install most of the android apps on it. The first 6 months,it's performance was flawless,but after that,i came notice lots of bugs. First and foremost was the sudden and huge drop in battery performance,earlier it would easily run for atleast 10 hours,but after 6 months,i had to charge it every 6-7 hours,and i am not even a moderate user,i never play any games,rarely watch movies on it,all i did was use whatsapp,on 2g,sometimes listened to a few songs,and use the kindle app. After a year,i tried to do the security wipe,because the internal memory was almost full,an the phone crashed. Luckily i have an extended warranty,so i sent it to the nearby reliance service center,they told me they couldn't fix it,so they in turn sent it to the blackberry service center. There,they told me the charging port was defective and had to be replaced. I wasn't that much surprised,because for the last few months my phone used to shut down by itself at 50/40/30 % charge remaining,so i thought maybe because of the port,my battery wasn't getting charged fully. Anyway they resolved the software issue after a week,and i got it back.But now the battery problem has worsened,the earlier problems are still there,it shuts down randomly,along with that,sometimes i loose the phone signal,specially after the phone restarts,then i have to reinsert the sim card,also,the battery nowadays lasts no more than 5 hours,with the screen being used for say an hour,max.Also the back camera,and flash totally sucks,the flash doesn't have a range of even 2 feet,that's ghastly. And there's no use expecting much from the front cam,it's a 2 mp after all. And the biggest problems,android apps which need a map do not work on the bb10,at all,like all the taxicab services,also most of the apps on bbworld are shit,just copies of the android apps,not properly customized even,so if you think it runs all apk's ,you are wrong. Important apps like paytm have also stopped working,the irctc app is bullshit. And after all the super BlackBerry security hype,my phone got hacked still,by some korean dude. So people,if you are thinking of buying this awesome looking phone,because it's cheap,don't. Forget blackberry,stick to adroid. Atleast then you can sell the phone for a decent price after you're done with it.

very love with my bb z10, never lag and hang, but the batre is poor,and camera is enough

Dear Z10 owners.
I have one question to all of you please.
I couldn't find a feature of auto on/off schedule(for ex: at 00.00 off the device and 07.00 on automatically) in my Z10.
Isn't this feature available?

My z10 ws working gud but aftr 17 months it started restarting issues n all .. i went to local shops thinking thtvit would be some software issues .. bt i ws wrong .. later i took it to bb service centre .. they said tht its the problm of motherboard .. the original price of mb is around 9000 .. 😕feeling annoying ..

How to work with xender?
First download and install the app..
Before open the app first make wifi on..
Tell your friend(android or ios user) to open the app and then you also open the app..
Yell your friend to tap on 'creat group' and you tap on 'join group'...you will find there your friend's name,connect to him and enjoy...

My Z10 suddenly got crashed to the extent that systems don't see it neither does it power on.
Do I still have hope of retaining the phone or its gone?

My phone has failed to initialize. If I put it off , switching it on and it initializes and picks networks is always hard. it keeps hanging reading Blackberry on the screen. I am living in Kampala- Ugnda but the Phone i bought from South Africa. it is a black berry Z10 . what can i do
