I bought the z10 with gr8 expectations.At first the phone was working fine. just 5 days later, the phone started hanging and the power button stopped working. Went to the dealer and they have offered to give me a replacement. Imagine....after 5 days. Don't buy this phone-Its a crappy offering from BB.

What is happening with Skype for the new Z10. There has been a lot of hype about it and yet both Skype and BB are keeping very quiet. Does anyone know if there is a release date yet for the official Skype App?

ahmoq, 18 Apr 2013android is buggy and no matter how many core do you have. ... moreAndroid and iphone are top operating systems and bb not even near it. Bb has a full of bugs and every month new updates are coming out to fix thease bugs. Uses always busy to fix their bugs.

I used both of android and ios but bb os is amazing.
How ever, bbz10 has amazing browser,really speedy,classy,and more &more...its a superphone & sure, its hotter than iphone... i love it.

And... moreyou tell him samsung fanboy... and don't deny that your a fanboy... you probably went to every new phone's blog and diss on them... i don't have this phone but i'm looking forward to buying the future phones after this... it just needs more apps in their market and some more upgrades

I have tested, stl 100-1 until stl100-4, and the result is Stl 100-1 model (TI OMAP) more slower than stl 100-2, 100-3 and 100-4 (snapdragon).
You can check on youtube for video review.
And z10 browser is faster than Iphone 5, HTC one and Xperia Z. Maybe I called fastest for now.
Overall is very good for New OS.

Proud to one of the earlier adopter and users of this new device. Fantastic mobile platform but some features are a bit lacking when compared to similar ones in previous devices. Urgent software updates and enhancements are required to add a bit more depth and control to some features such as better contacts management and synchronization with MS Outlook, more control options within some apps, e.g., better time scheduling is required in the Reminder app (current date-only option is inadequate), inclusion of context help required in all apps, more options and control needed in the Phone/DialPad app. Better integration / bridging required with the Playbook. Unfortunately, as a result of some issues mentioned here, I still feel compelled to carry my BB9780 as a complimentary backup device for organizing and scheduling tasks, etc.

Compare the specifications and performance of the two phones, you can see the difference. By any means no one should waste 43k on this outdated model/featured phone
