From my previous comments I meant blackberry is forcing their users not to give up on their blackberry data plans and a few lines down that android was successfull in replicating iPhones platform on dozens of phone models.

I am a person who is quite savvy when using a mobile phone as I have changed mobiles frequently over the last couple of years thus making me familiar with most of the softwares on iPhone,google and windows 8. I currently have a galaxy 3,lumia 920 and an htc butterfly which I feel are the best phones in the market today on a personnel preference. Today I wanted to try out the blackberry z 10 and wanted to give my opinion on it.
Pros : looks and feels like an iPhone.
Cons : lack of home button that actually makes a huge difference. Very difficult to use with the swipes and new software. Very limited apps and I mean ridiculously limited specially the popular apps needed. No data plans anymore in the Middle East for new blackberry users which means for someone like me who does not have a data plan it is just a normal phone.
So for blackberry to think it can compete with Samsung,htc and lumia phones for non data users I find that very very difficult to believe. For the current blackberry users they will be frustrated with the z10 not to mention most users still prefer a keyboard.
I feel blackberry strategy to scare current data users to give up their plans and force them into the z10 will fail miserably. The success of the phone was its simplicity regardless with what people say about it. The success of is that they replicated the apple platform dozens phone models.
Good luck blackberry for your bad strategy and after a long wait only to find out that the phone is an iPhone wannabe and failed at it miserably.
My advise is for all the blackberry lovers who are just addicted to Bmb start getting acquainted with windows 8,android,or iPhone. Good luck blackberry may you rest in peace.

Last week went to city to see how's Z10 in life. All Z10-s what I could find in cell phone stores were frozen or even dead at all. Unfortunately the very first impression is spoiled forever. Now I think it's just overpriced crap. RIP BB

I love this phone best phone out right now. People if you "hate" blackberry so much what are doing reading the reviews? If your phone is so much better why you wasting time commenting on this phone? Grow up and leave us blackberry freaks in peace. Stop sweating us

i used ma friends own for a while and we compared notes....bb tried but not yet up to my samsung galaxy s3...bb is just a wanna be...of an iphone n samsung....love ma s3 die lol

seeing how people rever bb makes me wanna puke, there is absolutely nothing spectacular about this fone, even though its a new fone, there are old fones better than it is, apart from BBM, blackberry s**ks

Good phone so far. Only had it a couple of days. Battery needs changing every day. Not all the apps available at the moment. Will see how I get on but so far loving it when I can get it from my daughter.

Lolli, 16 Feb 2013just heard that you can not use the BIS on the Z10..... is ... moreno it's not true, if you have BIS and get the z10 it will work fine. but you dont need a BIS so if you have a normal data plan that will also work
