I work for a telephone company and personally had the chance to meet with RIM and play around with this phone. In terms of the software itself. Its incredibly smooth. After all there is 2 GB of RAM. I don't think this phone will do bad. My only concern with the phone is the quality. The casing seems a little cheap. There is still a very large number of users still using blackberry's and RIM is offering some very enticing incentives for developers to develop apps on their platform. My suggestion is to keep an open mind, I cant see someone playing around with this phone and then calling it trash. Lastly remember people RIM was able to stay alive because of their ability to deliver on security so well. Using RIM means being safe in an environment where the number of viruses circulating is growing exponentially.

Size is big for 4.2" screen as compaired to Samsung galaxy s2, fond touch does not seem as gud super amoled,let us hope for the best.

so let me get this straight...people complain about the specs of this phone and suddenly windows phone 8 specs are better really??? I'm not saying that specs of the phone are great or even current...but it's not terrible...

Almost everyone hating on the phone already when no one that have posted negative comments have ever used the phone. I think specs wise its a good phone I just hope the software will be good. When I compare this phone to the samsung galaxy s3 thats on AT&T the specs are the same less the features on the s3 u hadly used and I'm using the note 2. Just give the phone a chance.

speaking about processor speed,i think that people at rim would be aware about the processor requirements,it depends on the os,it is because they would have found dual core more than enough fast...it would be juicing out the battery had they used quad core..also this could be just a rumuor,who knows what the final product looks like..peace

And the thing that is going to stand out is the actual OS. Not a 13mp camera. The icons you see in the picture is not the final design. The final design will look way more tasty.

I would have liked to see this phone succeed. But 2 years trying to develop a primary solid phone to stay in the game and you introduce a 8mp cam? 1.5 dual core, and 1800mah battery. Why not stand out and put a 13 mp? Or make it a quad core monster with a massive battery, but no.....bare minimum. Already the main page of the screen looks terrible, looks like 4 internet explorer pages open. The high hooes we all had for this phone will be put aside
