Z30 very good phone from Black Berry, it will be better to have a 6" display and 3GB RAN.3.6 GHZ CPU.

Yes, I dare to say that 95% android apps can be install on Z30 and all BB10 devices. The most important thing is android apps work flawlessly.

But you have almost all applications available at Blackberry World too.

All you need to do is to put apk somewhere on your phone and to run it via File Manager. But there is easier way to install Android apps on Blackberry OS 10. You just need to load one apk - thats Snap application bar or apk. After that you will have Snap application installed on your device which is Google Play Store in basic. After that you can install ANY Android app from Snap app store with just few clicks.

AnonD-209094, 13 May 2014Its easier to read on the Z1. By the way, in landscape the ... moreYou cant have better phones than Z10 and Z30. Both devices work great, OS is fluid , fast, easy to use. No bugs, no slow downs, no lags what is usual with all flagship android and iphone devices. Built quality is best on market, I know that because I have dozen of other devices before Blackberry Z10 and Z30. For example my Sony Xperia Z1 have spots which cant be removed and big scratch near camera lense on the back and it was in case from day 1! I never used any case for Blackberry Z10 and it doesn't have any scratch or damage neither on back or front. Blackberry Z10 got rubberized back and Z30 have carbon fiber which looks great quality as Z10 back. I just got Z30 few days ago and I will see is Z30 built quality same as on Z10. Time will tell. My wife also have Blackberry 9380 which is old like 4-5 years and this device also does not have any scratches.
So you cant get wrong with Blackberry 10 OS - especially with Z30 and Z10.
Also I see that you dont like 5 inch screen phones. In that case stick with Z10 - you cant get better phone than that with 4.2 inch screen size. It has gorgeous IPS LCD HD screen . I dont think you can get better screen on that size.
Z30 is same experience like Z10 but with bigger screen with Super AMOLED technology instead IPS LCD and stronger battery. Someone like bigger screen devices and someone like smaller that is personal thing. But what is important you have different screen sizes to choose from so nobody cant tell that Blackberry does not have device for him.

Zooming in results in lots and lots of panning and scrolling and that is not only inconvenient but also loads the CPUs more and then drains the battery faster.

Im very satisfied with BB10 and my Z10 but they need better phones to keep me as customer. Im keeping an eye on iPhone 6 and Z2 Compact, if BB should fail to bring a desirable phone that is not ridiculously big like Z30, i already been through 5.5 and 5 inch phones and not going back there but that doesnt mean i am willing to be stuck with 2012 display resolutions.

Also battery autonomy is great on Blackberry Z30. It easily lasts two days for me with moderate use.

I opened gsmarena.com desktop version on both devices and picture is same with zooming . Only difference I see is that white color od Xperia Z1 is brighter than on Z30 which is normal because Z1 have LCD screen and Z30 have Super AMOLED screen.
Z30 is better device because Android SUCKS. I updated Sony Xperia Z1 to latest android 4.4.2 Kitkat and since then device is laggy, slow, when I try to open something it opens some other thing - like I click on Chrome icon and Android opens Phone . I click on Message icon and it opens Chrome etc.
Problem here is not hardware - hardware is good, problem is that Android is bad and that all Android companies are realeasing ROMs full of bugs.
Blackberry OS 10 is 1000 times better OS than Android and thats what gives edge to Z30 over Sony Xperia Z1 to me. No bugs, no lags, it doesnt slow ever and never. I also have Blackberry Z10 for more than year. I also installed all apps I have on Z1 via Snap on Blackberry Z30 and everything works fine - for example Teamviewer.
Thats why I will dump Sony Xperia Z1 soon. I like camera on this device, it looks good, but Blackberry Z30 is simply better device because I use it mainly for calling, browsing and emails.

zahra, 12 May 2014hi i didnt get it yet and i know its decent and perfect but... moreThe resolution is not bad, its not a big problem, just not as good as the Full HD displays of some other phones, especially when reading small text the difference is big. For facebook, photo and video you will not notice any difference.
