To get better battery life switch to 2G at settings so battery last up to 1 week

The B30 phone is a piece of Junk. Cat should go back to building big machines. Battery life is poor. Phone is rubbish. Just wasted money on this unit.

I have just buy the cat b30 . The battery life is lasting 8hr with out calling. The phone is a joke.

How the hell do you set up MMS on this phone! I'm on BT mobile, have had SIM settings sent and stored, checked the MMS settings and internet settings and all correct but still wont send and receive MMS! even bought a PAYG SIM from GiffGaff but still not working?? phone calls and SMS work fine??? please help as i'm pulling my hair out!

Jon, 22 Aug 2015i just bought a cat b30 and it is actually drinking the bat... morei have just bought a b30 and have the same problem. drinks battery very annoyed just have contacted the person whom i bought it from.

10 days in standby... What a joke: with only one SIM card, phone not moving (just sitting in one place), after a 12 hours full charging the standby is only 6 days until the phone stops because of flat battery.

Just bought this phone and can clearly see that you need a Micro-SIM. My previous simcard is a Mini-SIM but with a small chipsize so you can cut it to Nano-SIM if needed. What I am wondering about is if I can cut this to Micro-SIM and be able to use it even though the chip size is too small compared to the connection it has to touch?
I'm not talking about the size of the plastic around but the chip that makes the connection. I tried ordering one of these old Micro-SIMs but seems they don't make them anymore?

Good solid phone but quirky predictive text input which is irritating. (You can either capitalise every word, or no words, or every letter. It won't capitalise the first word in every sentence. More irritatingly if you've chosen predictive text input then it tries to use that when you want to search your contacts. This is just REALLY stupid. You need to try using it t see just how user unfriendly that concept is.) Also the torch is disappointing. Otherwise great battery life etc.

i just bought a cat b30 and it is actually drinking the battery. I have to charge it after 8 hrs even without using the phone . Can anyone help please ?
