I have got a Cat S60(I am happy with it but only android 6 ???)
I was wondering to replace with S62 but is it worth it?

I'm considering it still as it might make sense for my job as an industrial electrician, but I would be downgrading from my Note 9 that I got about 3 years ago.

1. The sound is horrible.
2. Updates are still buggy. After opening the device the first time, it offers upgrade, that breaks FLIR camera until you delete its data and cache.
while the second one is just annoying and shows you how Bullit Group (or FLIR?) has no internal development to address bugs (Because the exact same problems were with S61 and no one has learned anything from that), the first one might be a major drawback, if you intend to use this in noisy environments. The sound is just very low, like it was turned down to 20...30% and at its 30%-like max volume it just crackles horribly. While it was hard to use speakerphone with S61 in my car, with S62 I cannot simply understand the words that the other party is saying. Its so low.

It has larger pixels in camera, better low light. Great hi res thermal. I am happy for them to lose the headphone jack, since I use bt anyways. FM radio without headphones in jack seems great (they are usually used as antenna also). Laser was cool, but useless, as far as I am concerned. It was a cat remote at best. Still, I used it as emergency laser pointer several times. It needs the measuring app open and measurement started to work so it was the most uncomfortable laser pointer I ever had. Voc sensor was 9nly fun when drinking some whiskey with my buddies, so basically useless for me. I only miss the barometer. I have pieces fallen out of my S61 case, lost accelometer and 2000mAh left in battery. Tomorrow I have the S62 Pro delivered. Let's see if I am as enthusiastic after using it. I will be posting my opinion here. Typing away on the last of its daily driver evenings on my good old S61 the phone still works fine after 3 years. I hope the S62 will also serve me well. My old S61 will be a thermal in my company toolbox cam after its retirement as my daily driver. Farewell, my good friend.

S61 is waterproof up to 3 m for 60 minutes. S62 is waterproof only 1,5 m for 35 minutes. This is a huge downgrading...

Total downgrade compared to S61, I must say. It would be a decent upgrade for S60, not for S61. Cannot call it an upgrade when there are less features. A little bit more powerful components mean this is at best a tuning, NOT an upgrade. And even then it's questionable, because of smaller battery and shorter time between chargings. And the camera is weaker than S61 camera.
Correct name for this device should be CAT S60 Pro
(and it should have been in stores between CAT S60 and CAT S61)
I'm waiting for the REAL upgrade of the S61

Should add uv and ir cameras and leave the sensors used before. Should also use face id to log in. Uv and ir light is a must too. Then it would be real swiss knife among smartphones. Truth be said, I would buy such phone even as second mobile device for me. If it would come with mentioned specs and also with jack and worthy cameras for all FOVs, it would be worthy even for ~2000 euros.
All needed would be filter changing in all cameras like what samsung done with aperture, hi specced cameras, different uv, vis., ir flashes, but value for customers would skyrocket as there is almost no competition now.
