with the Cat S75 Bullitt removed all the strong CAT brand image and turned Cat phones into commercial phones without any concrete proposition. They left the area of superphones like Cat S61, Cat 62 Pro very weak but at least with Flir and Cat S75 nowhere... Not even satellite communication is an advantage, as long as you can buy for 99 USD a device that transforms any phone in one with satellite communication. Maybe iCat S75 deserves to be released like Land Rover and Cat phones to stay in the line of true Cat phones. Without a barometer, a thermometer, how could there be a phone for the outdoors? a not cheap compromise with which Cat will lose the few buyers.

Even most rugged CAT or Sonim brand phone is not salt water resistant or imune.

I don't understand why people are complaining about the 6GB RAM. I mean, XCover 6 with the almost same price also comes with the same amount of RAM. The purpose of this device is for outdoor users, and they are not the type of people who open many applications at the same time.

Adebayo191, 24 Feb 2023Cat is the best in terms of ruggedness and water resistance.Still like any other phone is just water resistant not waterproof thus like any else its garbage.
One short swim in sea water and phone is as good as dead like any other phone from any other brand.
Unless the phone will be close or equal to real submarine thus it can stay indifinetely underwater and under any kind of water its a real garbage like everything else.
Whole IPXX rating is nothing just a costly gimmick which is not worth to have since no company gives water damage warranty. Only some phone carriers offers costly gimmick called insurance which covers even water damage but costlier phone costlier the insurance gimmick.
No thanks.
Will wait when companies starts releasing water proof phones.
Water resistant ones are garbage.
Cover from Alliexpress for 2 bucks offers much more water damage protection than garbage water resistant seals and other fuss.

I kinda not sure in which direction CAT is moving with these phones. What exact purpose of this phone? Hiking, travel etc?
Where is proper tool for engineering?! Competitors are dishing out rugged phones with high spec thermal cameras, night and rest of spec where here S75 is just useless general use phone with cheapo hardware at premium price.... Oh sorry flagship according to bullit.....
