I love my Dell Venue. In my opinion it is right up there with the Samsung and HTC android phones, it's just no one will give them a chance.
The only con I could find with the phone is the battery life isn't that great.

desmond, 23 Nov 2012why dell didn,t make any upgrade while other brand like sam... moredell is quitting smartphones business.
so you can't expect any more updates from dell.
btw, there are still pile of dell venue and dell streak stocks here.
they even lower the price significantly but nobody wants them.
poor dell...

Remove the sim & micro SD card and then format the cell, all issues will be solved

why dell didn,t make any upgrade while other brand like samsung and sony upgrade their mobiles my dell was still android 2.2 froyo, i hope they make some upgrade that maybe can fixed some problems like out of coverage area even i'm always on the same place with strong signal in many times.

It normally drops the network even when under a network covered area and atimes it hangs when making calls.

Hi, i got this Dell Venue (second hand) mobile a day ago from my friend. I didn't know the exact name only the brand Dell. never know Dell also produced a mobile phone. there are plus and minus about this phone. like: it's a kind of heavy & bulky, but, overall the applications & usages inside are almost similar to samsung galaxy 3g/4g. larger monitor; although it says the cam is 8MP, the result is not clear compare to samsung, but still acceptable. the power button is on the top head instead of right side, this won't easily got clicked with our finger while holding it (i don't like samsung power button on the right side, always got on and off by my finger); also have unlock/lock key for voice; the battery, it's okay, if you don't use much online application (games, etc), the battery won't waste that fast; i like the internet runs fast and i have no problem getting freeze at all, except if we download certain application which might not run appropriately might effect the mobile to get force stop you. the voice from speaker is clear, what else? well, easy to use and not complicated; almost similar to my previous samsung galaxy (which already "goodbye" after sunk inside my washing tank). most importantly, even it's a bit heavy, but makes me not too worry to drop my phone as i can confidently hold it firmly as it made by anti slip cover (again, compare to my previous samsung, i often dropped it coz its too light and easy slip off from my hand). still i like it. only, i wish dell can make more choice like languages; not just only two choices, english or korean; plus add front cam so that we can chat while using skype/video cam. not every one would like using this kind of model, but until this second day, i do like it, even my husband says its very good. however, so good luck to all of you who bought this model. :)

I never had any problem using the phone. It is clear, no static whatsoever. Overall, pretty satisfied with this smartphone.

Have used several android phones, this one is the best. UI is easy quick & simple. Very clear & responsive screen. Nice 8mp cam with flash. Very good solid design and nice to hold. Most importantly it has the fastest internet speed browsing, tethering, streaming. Try it to believe. It doesn't need any update since it is already perfect.

Dell venue is disastrous ... I get one for a present... and i havent used worst phone than this all of my phones were not worth more than 100euro.. but this is so bad phone no one can here me with no problems any call i make i have problem hearing the people and they have problems hearing me... the camera is worst i have ever used anywhere even my web cam is better.. if u move or something is moving wile u are picturig or ur hands move from the cold u cant even understand what picture it is... ir is the worst phone u can buy on the market no matter what the prize is this is not worth 50 euro.. i would never buy one... DONT BUY IT IF U REED THIS u will regret it.. good luck...

Please don't buy dell venue phone , i buy it in march after one month used its start hangs and after that display is total disappear , i give it to service center they replace it after one month and again i start using after 20 days again same problem appears ,again i am waiting for last 20 days .
please don't buy this phone , its totally money waster product .

My venue dropped once n broke, the screen doesnt come on. Not good for woman or kifd, wayyyyyyy too wide n bulky. Then you pay more thsn the phone to fix it.
