I bought 2 Dell Venue 8 (a month back) and currently waiting for venue 7 (ordered 2 days back).
This is the best tablet in given price range. works like charm. no lag at all.
screen quality very good
sound good
camera clarity average
with 150-180$ this is the best u can get. thank you Dell..

It has a quadcore processor. That is much better than a dual. I have seen HD games have lag with dual core and sometimes almost free. Quadcore lag does not happen.

I am confused coz it is a wifi and only cn support wifi. What the purpose of having a sim card slot and also have tie gsm, 3g, hsdpa support. Pls clarify... Tnx

@jajami, can you try if miracast is working. Also I have found that maybe mhl can work on this device (hdmi by mhl) could you test it?
