Only replacing mine because it will no longer hold a charge even with a replacement battery. Speed Dial was brilliant , Turn on then one number and then yes - which my wife could use - a replacement is hard to find.

heh, this was my first mobile ever, i bought it on 1999 and faced same problem which no access wz operator then ericsson change the handset by another new one till its stoled as its famouse that ur mobile is stoled any time any where , but its very amazing phone and very strong one i really had very beautiful memories wz this 1018

This was my first mobile phone ever.
I bought this phone in 2000 and I liked it too much but I hate the big antena.
I still have it and its still working

My first phone ever; it never made a single mistake, ran perfectly for 8 years, and is still working the same immaculate way after all these years...my dad owns it now...I loved this phone...

i have held about six 1018s but i tend to find that they all have the same problem which is loss of access to the service provider please advise me on what could be the problem and how to go about it. please reply. thank you

this is my grandpa's st phone...
i still remember he almost threw it into the drain when he forgot how to turn it on...

I had this as my first phone in 2001. I got it cause I liked the design back then and, guess what, I still do! :D It's a classy phone and something I would not be ashamed of walking on the streets even now + it's cheap :)

what can i say this phone this phone is amazing its better than the V3x or the sony ericsson w900i.
Its slick design is unique i dnt know why dey r sellin it 4 £2.99 in my corner shop it's worth buyin highly reccomended.

In a word, indestructable. I used this phone from 99 through to mid 2004. Then gave it to my parents, and it's still going. No idea what the casing's made of, but it should be used to make armoured vehicles - only scars it's got from six years of use are a couple of chunks out of the antenna. On its second battery now, and still only needing charging twice a week.
