Oh, yes, I forgot to mention. The problem with the R600 is not the battery, but the phone itself. For example, the fuel consumption on a 5.0liter car is greater than a 1.5liter car, therefore, the theory is that the R600 consume alot of power. I know it for the fact that the Ericsson T32m uses the same battery but it last and last and last and last.

Hi, I just got the Ericsson R600. I have the phone but hate the battery life. I want to know if it can use a third party batteries. I know that the std battery is only 700mhz. I was thinking of using a higher mhz. Don't know if it will help to boost the performance of the phone.

I read that some people have problems with the battery. In the beginning I had the same problems, but I put "light" on "automatic" and not on "on." Before I had a standby time of about 1 day, now I have a standby time of 3 to 4 days. "on" means that the light of your mobile is on 24 hours a day. You can imagine that the battery won't last long then.

a bug infested phone. try writing an SMS with some usual characters, then insert one of the large pictures (weather), then go back to the beginning of message and insert an unusual character (like the one that follows the letter s). try to delete this character...

well i think it's a very good phone we can call it a value for money, it has a lot of options and the size is small ..but the phonebook view style shloud be better that this i mean must be like how it is in nokia phones ..and i think there is a nother problem ..when you open a menu and a submenu too fast the phone goes to hang so you have too be slow when you use this phone..some other thing the battery is too weak it has a 700 amp. but it longs only one day in a very normal use..

I got this phone when it launch and sold off on the third day. The phone hanged oftenly on the second day, battery time last me 1 day and the key buttons is like rubber which need to press hard. Great Design but the keypads really spoil the phone and hope the software that can improved as well as the battery performance.

Hi to all Ericsson cellphones user,
Just got the R600 for 2 wks & I do agreed the design is excellent, slighly smaller and it fits my palm just right. The feature wise its pretty cool. The moment i saw it I wanted it. I've got the ice blue colour. As for the price is reasonable. I was once a NOKIA user but after my experince using the Ericsson R520m, it was an excellent phone. The battery last longer. But I'm quite disappointing to find the battery for R600 only manage to last 2 days only. Can't SonyEricsson do something with the battery or perhaps come out with a long lasting battery for R600? R600 is much more value for money than the Nokia phone.
