[deleted post]yes the device is rooted but by gionee ; just enable root permission ;i have not encountered such prob; app to sd available ; just disable nq antivirus because its nonsense . download dr. web from play store and scan it for viruses .

I have purchased it today at 10.4k and satisfied with the design and camera.but when trying to install apps a message coming like
"Detected that your device has rooted.For better install experience,please enable root permission"
Then there is two options to choose "Enable" and "Later"
I want to know what does it means.
And the second issue that the device got a little bit slow and NQ mobile security has given an information that there are 1221 virus and database out of date and asked for update.Can I install another antivirus for the device though the default one I cant removed from my system

s; battery performance just like 2000mah.; camera like 5mp; other features are OK.

raju, 10 Mar 2014pls help me about its camera quality?Camera is fairly good. Descent outdoors pics with good clarity and accurate colour capture. As usual it suffers a bit in indoor situation. I have tried with 'fluoroscent' setting and have managed to get good results both day as well as night time with lights on. Video quality is good but not suitable for fast moving objects, all you get are blurry movements. But focus, colour capture and clarity is good. The flash is not good as it shines too strongly on close-up subjects. The spread is not that even and the throw is not that long. However using the flash during video recording is all togteher different. The flash then adjusts according to the ambient light and will autimatically adjust the intensity and proves much more useful than while taking still pics.

Dear users can anyone tell about the Gionee M2 that. Can we save or move the apps and heavy games transfer to micro sd card or we ll have depend on the internal memory only there is option in the phone or not ;- )

Pros:
1) Very good battery. Lasts for full 4 days inspite of using for whats app/viber/calls and internet.
2) Gionee Amigo Interface : Its just perfect to clean up ROMs, optimize battery and all useful features,.Eventhough its not as exhaustive as Samsung Grand 2 (which I own) this is really good
3) Display - Very nice ...clean interface with good color reproduction
4) Camera - One of the best camera for night use
5) Processor is way good and ran speed 3 which was running without a glitch
6) GPS - Quick fix within 4 seconds like Grand 2. Never seen this in other phones
7) Speaker - Very good clarity
8) Look and feel is awesome
9) OTG support for charing other phones is a great plus
Cons:
1) Music player interface is very raw without adjustable bass treble and volume settings
2)No flip cover
3) Day light camera sometimes takes over exposure

Asphalt 8 installed and run very very smooth...graphics are good...no lag problem...heats little bit but less compare to the other leading brand phones in this range.....full paisa wasool h bhai log...

after using it for last 5 days...
Display is not that bad. Colour distributions are perfect. Though it fades a little bit while u tilt but not that much. Main usp - perfect OS, never lags, never hangs , never heats . Battery with moderate use will lasts for 3 days. But if u use wifi on always will last for 1.5 days. depending up on your using but definitely best battery performance in this segment . Still i feel it bulky but looks so premium in hand .
