Good phone but the UI is so so so bad. The icons are way uglier. I would have appreciated it if Gionee had given pure stock ROM. Don't buy this phone. Even Micromax, LAVA, XOLO, etc., gives pure Android why not Gionee. Such a disappointment!

This is the best android mobile phone in relation to the battery. But I need the Cover of this phone which I'm not getting anywhere.

But actual user experience is quite good and not at all a strain on the eyes. There are other factors to judge a mobile screen such as colour accuracy, white balance (whether screen is completely free from blue or yellow tinge), touch response and accuracy (otherwise you will get a headache typing anything at all) and even brightness and contrast from corner to corner and edge to edge (some mobiles have light bleeding issues where light uses to be thrown on the screen from one of the edges). I am very satisfied in this regard as Gionee M2 gives flawless performance on all the above counts. As far as the camera goes, I have taken photos of A4 documents at office and then printed them out on A4, the results came out as good as xerox copy. There is no speciality sensor or lens on the camera module, so don't expect for stars and the moon. You can always go for a mobile with a 13 mp camera for around 14,500 if you so fancy yourself as a photographer. Camera has enough features, you can step up or step +3 or -3 instead of the usual +2 or -2 available in most other phones in the same price range. Then you can boost colour, brightness and contrast. So for the usual family or group pics you have adequate variations to try and get the perfect frame. You can also zoom st the highest 8 mp setting. Out door performance is any way quite good. But the main attraction of the phone is the purposeful design with straight lines, capable hardware, very stable OS and hardware integration (no hanging, no heating and no lags), and a mammoth battery that ensures you don't have to worry about recharging for minimum 48 hrs. And the price is just right.

cool phone @ 10000rs ,, nice camera , sound,, display Q,,but i think front facing camera is nt 2 mp.. ??
over all is very gud 2 me.. full time wifi,gaming,watching movies , songs, bla la bla,, 19hrs 23min is super cool ..... i love it,,,,

Rams, 10 Mar 2014wt abt its ram.. the contains flip cover or we have to purc... morebro its flipcover is not yet available ;and one thing more why do you want to hide its gorgeous looks ;it feel so great in hand ;and it is having 1 gb of ram and latest mediatek 1.3ghz quad core processor with mali gpu ;antutu score are around 17500 which are pretty decent ;resolution is not that bad either approx 200ppi and its brightness is also very nice and it supports 16million colors ;can full hd videos without any lag .

Hi let me say something about M2 camera. It was totally disappointing to see camera of M2> with low screen resolution it lacks that quality especially in low light. At least Gionee guys should have made it Qhd man. Else everything was fine.

AnonD-241888, 08 Mar 2014how can you ask high end features in a lower mid range mobi... moreDude, first of all a "Noise cancellation feature / dedicated mic" CANNOT be considered a High - End feature...pllzzzzzzz get ur facts right brother, Ive had a 5000 Rs Micromax Phone which had a noise cancellation facility, so this is still higher than that... in a country like India Noise Cancellation is necessary & a majority of phones have them, even the cheapest local indian branded ones...nonetheless thanks for your crucial feedback!!!
