hi; i bought this mobile 20 days ago from chennai ;its really awesome at this price range .display is also not tht bad ;its quite bright . back camera is superb in bright as well as low light ; front camera is decent . battery back up is superb without any optimization. it gives 2days battery back up with heavy usage including 2-3 hrs of gaming ;3-4 hrs of full hd videos ; n full day surfing and whatsapp ; wechat n video calls etc ; weight is on a bit higher side because of a monster battery of 4200mah which is about 190 gms . at 10000 odd this is simply the best mobile available

got it yesterday 7.2 2014. looks good, feels heavy . Display a bit disappointment but battery OMG never experienced this kind of battery performances. 2 days minimum. I bought it 10100 rs from kolkata . value for money handset i would say. Will make comment after using it for few days .

For all the gaming nuts out there, read the reviews of Micromax canvas 2.2. That one comes with the same chip set and GPU and same 1 GB RAM as the gionee M2 and reviews report that asphalt 8 and dead trigger 2 played flawlessly. So I would guess the same will be true for the M2. Someone else queried about the use of flashlight during video recording. Its simple, switch to video mode and switch on the flashlight by pressing the icon. In the lighting condition option, choose fluroscent. I have found indoor videos come out best in this mode. Please remember that intensity of the flashlight will vary automatically depending on the availability of the ambient light and also on the distance from the subject in focus. A friend from Nigeria had asked about its availability in Nigeria. Sorry, got no clues. But from what I know Gionee is not marketing outside mainland China and the South-East Asian countries for the moment. Your only choice would be online sites which are willing to deliver in Nigeria. But you need to think about availability of service centres. Meanwhile I have completed a week's time with this phone and I am extremely delighted. As I had said earlier, the best attributes are the battery, the multitasking ability of the processor and RAM combo, sharp and vivid screen, very stable and lag free user experience, absolutey fatigue free performance from the phone (doesn't heat up at all) and a well proportioned design and dimension with solid good quality built. Only trade off is the weight. But as we all know, the higher the capacity of battery, higher the weight. Remember even electric cars and hybrids are battling this issue. Oh by the way one more thing, no one has as yet made an after market flip case for the M2. So till you make your own take good care of your M2.

using it from 10 days..true value for money..super classy look,great in perfomance and marathon betrry wich give 2 days backup even in hevy usage..
