Hello Everyone
I have purchased Gionee M2, 8GB on 25.07.2014. It shows horizontal lines after automatically keypad lock but after that its ok. My honest review.
Pros:
Sound clarity is good
Videos is ok.
Dispay is quite good.
Rear camera is superb but front one is not upto mark but me its ok.
Internet speed is quite good.
Battery back up is excellent.
Cons:
Video Camera is just ok. Its not good. Only we can see the person. No clarity.
All functions of android phone avaliable, which earlier I can't expect in Chinese cell phones. Out of 10 I will give 8.5 marks.

divyansh, 27 Jul 2014can I upgrade my gionee m2to kitkat versionOfficial update it not yet out for M2, however if you don't want to keep your device under warranty use your skills and get a custom developed Kitkat from internet and install it on your device (Which may not be exact kitkat for m2, a themed version of 4.2.2 maybe)

If you think the default settings are not working for you, install and app from play store which will turn your device into a wifi-hotspot.

Yes if by mistake you have locked it by trying multiple wrong patterns and it's asking for your gmail id password, please enter it. and by any chance you are not connected to internet please visit the service centre right away.

Vertical line issue, is this really related with firmware dates, plz let me know how to check the firmware dates. Also brief any solutions to update the same.
Expect suggestions on usage of internet service (thru WI-FI) from gionee m2 to LAPTOP.
