Its 3 days now I bought this phone for me, works awesome. Though the looks of this phone are yawning but the processor speed and camera is awesome. I am disappointed just because of charging speed. It charges in normal speed (15W). Wherein Pixel XL gets charged by high speed (18W). Like every other inbuilt battery phone it has a heating issue but that is not a big deal. Compared to Samsung S7 Edge, This phone is way better in every case. Its like Android OS in iphone. Overall i will rate 4.5/5 to this phone.

Xiaomi phones are used by few of my relatives. Nexus was work horse for my partner,who switched to Pixel XL recently.
Samsung units come to me for review by some of local vendors. I get first hand experience on most Android devices,since my bro in law is an Android developer.
I gave up after iPhone 4 battery problem and switched over to iPad mini for ios.

They are better and sturdy built.
You would know if you have experienced it. But your comment prooves that you have not even touched any of above 2.
Take any Samsung and it will look pathetic in few months.

I see GSM Arena has posted a review and battery endurance tests for the Pixel XL. Will they be posting a review and battery endurance tests for the Pixel also? If so, when is it expected to be posted to the site?

Actually nothing new here. Mobile market is slowing down because there isn't anything revolutionary and today even cheap "no-name" Chinese phone is very similar to the much expensive flagship from some established company. In fact I have bought Lumia 950 just because it differs from lousy androids (also because today it's cheap and has fantastic camera). Speaking of, Lumia 950 is most underrated phone today, just like this Pixel is the most overrated. And certainly overpriced.

Yawn.Nothing new to see here.It seems like new phones gain a little processor power,little memory,little bit better camera,etc etc.Am I the only one that feels phones,apart from their operating systems,some of which could be better or more streamlined,have really gone as far as they are going to go for a while.The only diff I can see worthy of upgrade is if it can handle a great blur free VR experience...or if it doesn't self combust.

Google Pixel are being reviewed.
Plus GSMA has complete list of detailed battery test for most of the devices.
Request you to use phone and information technology smartly. Don't be a literate dumb.
