Google really played themselves by mocking the headphone jack removal last year. But everything's heading to wireless in 2 years time every thing will be Bluetooth so it's not too much of an issue more just an early inconvenience.

R.I.P headphone jack Probably next year all Company's will ditch the headphone jack soit will extinct in 2k18. 2019 for sure there will be none left lol.

I've got a USB C thumb drive that rotates around into a USB A. Transfers files quite fast and reliably. It would be awkward to leave in 24/7, but it certainly comes in handy and works well with my Nexus 6P, Pixel C, Chromebook Pixel, and should work well with my Pixel XL 2 once it arrives.

What happens to cloud storage after the time period expires (3 years it seems)? Do you have to pay Google for monthly storage after that (like you do with the free Google account that you have for gmail/blog/photos/etc if it goes above the free limit)? Does anyone know if Google gives free storage for LIFETIME during the period it advertises as free?

Anonymous, 09 Oct 2017It's worth bringing up the sd card , sure cloud is fine fo... moreSure its not as easy as ejecting an sd card but it does have usb 3.1 and it's not like most people leave everything on the sd card so transfering from the phone to a hardrive takes the same amount of time. Plus if your taking enough 4k video in a day to fill 20+ gb i don't think a phone is what you want.
