Why waste money on a device where 5G is expected to roll out sometime in 2019 or 2020. Wait for 5G devices rather than waste money on these.

2 questions:
I'm thinking of upgrading to this from a Samsung s6 edge, is this is decent upgrade?
also, worried about this phone not having a face unlock recognition, how do you unlock the phone while its on your desk without picking it up?

Google Pixel series always following Apple iPhone's culture, no sdcard slot, no headphone jack and a small battery, I wonder why...

No way with this price.
Only minor upgrades on Pixel 2. Okay everything is how it should be except battery and headphone jack. But I can buy LG G7 with half price and it has almost same specs.
Also that back design is so ugly. People expect premium materials on their phones instead of rubber plastic. However if it was cheaper budget phone then plastic material would be acceptable.

If only it had reasonable Battery....around 3300 mah.... It could be the best Smartphone.... Even better than Xl ones containing Huge Ugly Notch

to be honest dont see all the hype. it really looks like a pixel/2 supposed its meant to. minimal upgrade. only 4gb of ram LOL. bet it still goes for flagship price. like $600-700. same camera no 2018 dual or triple camera setup. so all in all, its a google pixel with with number 3 on it. Now im not slaggin it off. But i was a fanboy i would not be rushing out to but it. so have same looking phone as the year before and year before that. Shame on Google.

Why are they still using the inferior P-Oled screens? did they make a bulk order with LG or something?
Why not the better sAMOLED screens? I wonder what other corners they cut when making the Pixel phones...

No notch in 2018 is a bold choice. I won't miss it. There is no excuse for the chin, however.
