Yep, 14 Oct 2019How is the battery life on this phone? gsmarena forgot to r... moreBattery life is one of the strongest points with this device. Efficient hardware with a decent sized battery makes for a minimum of 5 hours continuous screen usage under heavy load (gaming, GPS nav, etc.)
Screen time is said to be similar but the XL model's bigger battery size will allow for allow for more standby time in between.

Little faster chipset would be great but not gonna find that on $400 cellphone in USA. Get a case or you will end up replacing screen after couple of drops. New screen is$109.

If i get pixel ... moreDespite being the same price I went for 3a because it's made from plastic so won't break easily, has a headphone jack and taller screen, the battery life is also longer and the device won't heat up or thermal throttle.
I think if you want a more compact feeling device or need a faster SoC despite the extra heat and battery drain than the Pixel 3 is worth paying a bit extra for.

If i get pixel ... moreDepends on things that are important to you, pixel 3 had auto focus on one of its front cameras, 3a doesn't, pixel 3 had an IP rating, 3a doesn't , pixel 3 has Qi charging the 3a doesn't , pixel 3 has more memory channels versus the 3a , pixel 3 100% DCI colour palette accuracy, the 3a doesn't state that ....I chose a 3a because I don't game and don't need the flagship chip, I am amazed by the camera quality coming from my galaxy s10e , only thing I don't like about the pixel is the launcher which I prefer the Samsung one UI , but I've installed CPL launcher and it works fine, apart from not allowing compatibility with Android 10 full gesture system, so you have to use the bottom navigation buttons
