Only good thing is camera Google's own apps don't work properly gps not working properly i have Chinese phone vivo which shows better accuracy on maps and finds route faster on map! This pixel 3a stuck on just rotating the image i took picture and i wanted to rotate it and everytime this phone stuck and i got it like a week ago! It has too many software issue! The ring volume goes down on its own! Its my first and last Google pixel experience

It does work with 3/4 of the... moreThat phone needs to go back to the store, every one of us get a dud sometime, my awfully expensive 55 OLED tv has two dead pixels already after 3 weeks of use, that's more fun than you are having since warranty will not cover this issue, wish you better luck with your 3a.

This phone is a piece of c#$p. It does work with 3/4 of the chargers I have (it does detect that the phone is connected, but refuses to charge); it also refuses to connect to a computer via USB port with half the cables that I have (which are all working just fine with my Nexus 5X, so cables aren't broken). And even when I use the original charger, it refuses to work with the dock I have on my nightstand for it (which btw works fine when used with a different cable to connect to the computer). Overall, I'm disgusted with the lack of professionalism in the design of the phone

For those of you who are having trouble with the low audio volume on ringtones, etc, just do the following. 1) Put your Call Volume, Ring Volume, and Alarm Volume at MAXIMUM. (Also, you can enable "Also vibrate for calls", which helps when the phone is in your pocket). The phone ring volume is loud enough to hear when you set it to maximum, but unfortunately it is too low to hear outside if you move the volume slider down even one notch. Google needs to fix this, but in the meantime this is the best solution. The problem is that the ringtone audio is played through the bottom speaker only. Media is played through both speakers. 2) Because the Ring Volume setting is also used for the notification sound, you need to edit the audio file and lower the volume, or else when you get a notification it'll be way too loud. (or you can just select "none" for notification sound). It would be nice if Android had a separate volume control for the notification sound. So...just use an online audio file editor, like mp3 louder dot com. Convert the audio file (ogg or whatever) to mp3 if necessary. Decrease the volume by 3db to 6db and save the new file. Copy the file to the appropriate folder on the phone and select that new file in the sound settings. It'll take just a couple of minutes. Problem solved.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2019Overall is the 3a or iPhone 8 better Very different phones, the 8 has a tiny 4.7" IPS screen and a worse than pixel camera, tiny ram too, but the iphones are superb luxurious show off devices, the pixel looks like a kid's toy phone so yeah pick the one better for your needs.

Just for everyone to know this phone has some issues right now, frequent restarts and/or misaligned speaker holes and usb jack in some units, overall a great phone but make sure you don't get an affected device, better wait until these issues are solved.

When the pixel 3a was made public my first reaction was: "what the hell is this? It's crap".... Then I saw and read a couple of reviews and thought... mhhmm... Ook... It's not that bad... I kinda like the bezels... everyone using phones with (almost) no bezels knows they are just a fancy gimmick... couple of days later I went to local shop, took it in hand.... And now I'm getting one.... For everyone bashing on pixel 3a, just go and try it out... It is perfect... not too small not to large... screen is very nice, bezels offer comfort when using the phone.. CPU is not the top model but.... do you really need it? this thing just works... Camera is excelent.... really nice job google.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2019Overall is the 3a or iPhone 8 better Most objectively - the pixel 3. It has better cameras, better OLED screen with a better screen to body ratio and 18:9 aspect ratio. But if you think like iOS better you might consider iphone 8, which also would be a faster phone. In my country iphone 8 is about 500-550 euro, and the pixel 3a - 400 euro. I'd definetly go with the Pixel 3a.
