I would wager, if google phones did not have absolutely abysmal hardware specs, they would sell a lot better.

i like the style its just it is a bit expensive for the spec i have a s7 edge it has a bit of better spec

You can kill iphone SE's battery in 1.5 hours if you play games. It is practically a useless phone for most people.

All HTC phones had poor battery, and I think they are the team behind this too.

I did use an iPhone 7 for while and the battery is not too bad, but then again might be different in this case. Also google has sadly built a reputation on having quite bad battery life, for example the pixel 4 and pixel 4XL. This phone also seems to have a small battery relative for an android device, but i do hope that it is better than the iPhone. Please ask any questions once it launches as I will be getting my hands on this device. Have a good day.

Ok, so personally I think the 4a will be a killer 'budget' camera device. It looks nice, its compact, hope there is a XL variant. But for 400 euros, the snapdragon 730 is a no go. I would rather have seen a SD 735 5g or a Mediatek 1000 5g (a cheaper 5g chip and more powerful chip than both sd730 and sd735 but not in gpu power). I would have also like to see wireless charging or possibly a much faster charging. This phone is perfect to combat the SE 2020 but the SE has that much better SoC that guarantees long life plus simply faster performance as well that it is an iPhone. I'd like to see how well it's priced in the western market but in the eastern market this is gonna flop. Hopefully it goes as planned because this may be one of the few mid tier devices I got excited about. Will be testing this is anyone is wondering and will be putting my thoughts here.

With the new iPhone SE as competition, I think Google needs to up their game. 5g, 765 processor, 6g ,128 storage and throw in wireless charging . Then I think it would sell like hotcakes.

Only 70 Degrees Field of View for Front Camera. Which would crop to 50 Degrees for video. NO THANKS!!

i think the pixel 4a battery is quite good for a 5.8 screen and 730 chipset,because i just bought a samsung s8 on last year for around 250 dollar,with the almost same capacity battery and screen size i can used it for continuously 6 hours ,i played call of duty,pubg and a tons of games.So 3000mah battery is totally enough for a small screen phone
