Pixel 4a Cancelled, June release called off.
Google readying 2 models for Pixel 5 instead one with 5G (SD 765) and the regular Pixel (SD 730) for a Oct'20 release. Unfortunately both to come with 3080 MAH batteries and 6 GB RAM.

I am also a bit confused about the camera design. however I don't have a huge problem with it. Most phones have a camera bump anyway.
Also for the SOC i really hope it will perform decently! I really want to like this phone. Also when ist the unveiling? tomorrow? I am so looking forward to it

The speculated price being floated around is $350, and if that ends up being the case this is going to be a very compelling phone. Coming in at $50 lower than the SE 2020 is a big deal since this phone is basically going to compete directly with it.

Hello denizens
I need to tell you why iQoo 5G isn't that great.
Camera: Not Good. This is a problem with all Chinese phones. They tend to beautify you too much. Some shots were somewhat underwhelming too.
Price: The iQoo 5G might be cheap in other countries but in India (target market) The price is something like $600. This makes it especially hard to justify its USP.
Design & Feel : Not good. Felt somewhat cheap and wasn't easy to use. However if you are fine with big screens and (irritating) Glass gradients, You will be happy with it.
Oneplus absolutely undercuts it in some markets. You can get a XR too (nice performance)
But if you live in Europe & price is not a concern, You should buy iQoo
Now for iPhone SE
Sure the SE doesn't have a good battery, But you can get a day if you are not a game. This is because iOS will be nicely integrated. But it can't beat OP/Samsung/11 in battery.
Pixel target market.
Basically what the SE targets but those who don't need that much performance as an SE.
The price is less & you don't get stuck in the Fruit ecosystem. Camera is better too. But SE is better for those who use an iPad or Mac. It is rather cheap and you can use airdrop imessage etc. Frankly once you get an iPad/iPhone, you start to think that life must be so much more convenient. (I use windows, WP,Android,iOS,Linux and MacOS. Life is hard). Still I would prefer Pixel 4A if it is cheap in India . You Can also buy something like a galaxy S9+ (2 yr old flagships), since flagships are almost better or same in every aspect when compared to midrangers or you 108 mp monstrosity's

The only way that the iPhone SE (2020) will last a full day is literally by not using it at all. And don't forget that it takes freaking 3 hours to charge it because of the ancient 5W charger that you get out of the box.

The Google Pixel 4a has a much better display, battery, more sotroage, heapdhone jack and so on. Don't forget the great pixel camera that will come with this phone. This is a much better deal than the iPhone SE (2020). You pay $50 less and get twice the storage.

Denizens I am really sorry but there is no $299 model (And battery can be 3080 mah only) But 6-128 model is still $349. However the chipset and display will be the same and there will be 3.5 mm HEADPHONE JACK ! iPhone SE vs Google Pixel 4A. Plastic body though. Thank you . (I love GSMARENA)

someguy if that is true and the price carries over to europe I would definitely consider buying the 128 version. I mean google could charge just a hint less, but the overall experience of their phones seems very solid to me (looking for an upgrade from my nexus 6p)

Hello Denizens of the internet!
I recently saw a link that showed the base 6-64 config is $299 and 6-128 is $349 no 6-256. OLED screen. 3560 MAH battery. Due to the ridiculous OP 8 price, 2020 is going to be Pixel vs iPhone SE vs Samsung/OP Z (Hopefully). Gone is the era of the poor quality chinese phones.
PS I hate my realme and Xiaomi (& iPad). Love samsung though.
