CouldBe, 29 May 2020I think Pixel 4a will not launch in markets like Brazil, In... moreI can't find a link for this, so I'm gonna assume you're talking bollocks. Doesn't sound plausible, unless Google really wants to lose even more ground in market share.

400 euros without SD card slot, imagine.

Tahasin1, 02 Jun 2020World best loser brand pixel, have no sense about priceing,... moreI'm guessing your knowledge on most devices is pretty slim?

Pixel devices using stock Android are able to utilize the software and hardware more efficiently so they can have very little issues, good battery management and reassuring support from Android updates. The camera software is that good they really don't need to add many upgrades to compete with the latest phones released in 2020. Alongside Samsung, Huawei , OnePlus , iPhone and oppo I've also used the Pixel 2Xl, 3Xl and 4Xl and fairly miss the 4Xl for it's sleek performance (partners got it now). So I'd say a pixel devices under the £400 price tag is pretty cool

Having a camera is a bonus and overrated luxury- main requirement is having wireless charging so one can charge the Pixel 4a minimum 3 times a day (normal daily routine for the Pixel 4). People should be fine with pay-per use filters for old pictures, as it is everyone is indoors for the next year 2 years.

Hard to imagine how consumers will cope with a Pixel device without a back camera this year. Filters for older pictures are fine and am sure people won't mind paying $5 for being able to edit their favourite picture. But the dummy camera modules were not required, they could have gone with a smooth back, without trying to make it look like the flagship Pixel 4. Without all the image processing required, 4GB RAM appears to be more than enough. 3080 MaH battery seems sufficint too, as power intensive tasks like video capturing and installing games are restricted. Look forward to the July'20 launch!

Tahasin1, 02 Jun 2020World best loser brand pixel, have no sense about priceing,... moreThere are a lot of us Pixel guys!

I was with Windows Mobile/Windows Phone for 11 years until my last WP.... MS Lumia 950 XL.... Then jumped platforms to the Google Pixel 2 XL for two years till Google Pixel 4 XL now....

Best Android experience with zero bloatware.....as for example any Samsung phone just packed with Bloatware!!

Looking forward for my next phone... Google Pixel 6 XL 😎

Please put your source. Pay per use filters? I don't think it will work.
Also it really seems against googles usual monetization.

Also to everyone who was talking about a dummy camera. Please write about a possible dummy camera ALONGSIDE the usual google camera. Making me anxious.

New Pixel 4a to have dummy camera modules as Google analysis shows that people are not expected to be clicking as many pictures as before due to Covid19 situation. Devices to only come with pay per use filters to edit and share old photographs on popular social media apps. The renders we are seeing are of Pixel 5G with SD765 SOC to be launched after this year and not Pixel 4a.

World best loser brand pixel, have no sense about priceing, $400 spend for only camera, sd730?, And loser are using pixel phones? How many people are using pixel?

Why people complaints all much, even pro critics about Pixel products in numbers? The point of this phones are proof of concepts that imply less for more, like lot less battery but with an experience a lot better than best bateries, or lot less camera, but an experience a lot better than the best cameras out there, and so on. YOu cannot say with a phone like this "look, only has 1 camera, and just 16mpx" or "that battery is like a joke". Google is trying to say with a small battery you save a lot of money and we can do the exact same as bigger batteries for the same amount of years ago bigger battery would last. The exact same with CPU, RAM, Storage or whatever.

This is the new philosophy, you are judging without proper studies and proper reviews, you are all considering numbers.

I feel like this HAS to be a troll. A pixel without a camera. I don't believe those statements.

Why does it have an ugly camera tumor for a single camera?

I think Pixel 4a will not launch in markets like Brazil, India, China with Camera modules. For US and Europe, Google Photos will be a paid service with pay per use filters to click and edit photographs. It is confirmed to have 4GB RAM.

Must be 300 to 350 USD..

Launch has been postponed to Oct’20 as Google will be launching this phone without any camera modules in price sensitive markets using Snapdragon 400 series SOCs. Google reasons that considering Global pandemic, people should be staying indoors and will hardly need to click photographs. Google will instead have crafty filters in gallery app to transform your old pictures into newer looking versions.

I mean it can handle candy crush. Also there are rumours about a Version with SD 865.
Personally also wanna play some games on my phone, but primarily it needs to be practical in daily use. As portable as gaming laptops are supposed to be, nothing beats a smartphone.
