Had Pixels previously with a 1XL, 3XL and most recently a 5.

The 5 has no compelling functionality but I was reasonably happy with it until 3 months in all comms failed. The WiFi failed (with no MAC Address showing even) and the 4g/5g failed simultaneously. I was asked to reset to factory settings and now the thing is bricked because you cannot set it up without an internet connection which it is incapable of.

I have little confidence in the device but Google refuse to refund me or give me anything but a refurb replacement. Do yourself a favour and buy a better phone than this.

                    I don't like that there's no hole for headphones or earbuds. I had to buy an adapter or be forced to switch to wifi (not everyone wants to or can do that). The slippery fabric on the stiff case (instead of the wonderful grippy rubbery type) doesn't allow the phone to stay on the magnetic car mount. Putting the super thin magnet on the back of the phone throws off the volume buttons on the case so they don't work anymore. Why not just have a cutout where those buttons are? I don't like the idea of a fabric covered case - especially for cleaning purposes. So much money for a phone that I don't like as much as my PixelXL was.

                        i really want this phone, mainly because of its camera and stock android which is miles better than OneUI, and especially MIUI and EMUI from the looks

                          I love my pixel 5, long lasting battery ever, best camera i have never seen it before, nice and simple user interface. No any complain

                                      I'm upgrading from Sony Xperia XA Ultra, I'm not a heavy user, all that I care about is a good camera, good battery, and support for Google apps. Is this phone recommended?

                                        Best small sized and relatively high performance android smartphone yet. Except gaming, if you need a small phone this is the only option.
