I thought Google said that the Pixel 5 would only come in the XL version? What's this about? Pixel has the most confusing marketing strategy I have even seen. It's like they can't make up their minds on their own devices.

I have no problem with the chipset, it will be plenty fast. Looking forward to the larger battery from the Pixel 5, fantastic screen, and continued excellent camera. A lower price point is a plus.

The rumors say this phone will be made of plastic. Why are expensive phones turning to plastic? I'm very happy with my 4a, but it was only $350. $700 for a plastic phone is pretty off-putting imo. I don't drop my phones and I prefer glass backs.

Everything looks acceptable, seeing as Google is trying to redefine smartphones. Not a beast processor, awesome camera, good in almost everything else. It’s actually a very good concept.
However they should’ve gone with UFS 3.0 storage, especially when they’re using a mid range processor

If the rumored pricing of $699 is true, this sounds great. Looks like the battery will be big enough, camera will be good enough, and if you didn't know the specs, performance would be great for the vast majority of people. Really looking forward to this.
