Fingerprint in the back is awkward and no easy of use. The should be on the side or in the front easily accessible. You don't always pick your phone to use it.

first google tried to intentionally remove headphone jack on pixel 5 to sell their wirless audio but i think it failed. also intentionally now trying to limit storage by giving mere 128 gb and no sd card support to push their cloud storage agenda. and at this price point ram should atleast be 8 gb man! hardware wise its a totally waste phone to buy.

Does anyone know if there's any black crush on the 5a screen? The 5 was gorgeous in low light, Google had solved that issue on the 5 I'm wondering if that will continue. Looking at the 5a but this is a worry having seen previous Pixels

It has no Android, no Google services and play store, so it is only a champ in china. They better patch up with Android or will end up like BlackBerry.

                  I recently got the a52 5G, mostly because I couldn't get the Pixel5a overnight.
I saw a few spec watchers online and wanted to comment about A52 usability. First, A52 is a darn heavy phone and it draws a lot of battery power. Looks like the 5a weight went way up with the nee bigger battery. The A52 can drain the battery in 6 hours unless you disable most of the apps. The Samsung Ui is a matter of preference, I don't like the Ui and I don't like Bixby. Display in sunlight is not so bright. I much prefer the simple software interface on the Pixel. The A52 optical fingerprint reader is slower. On the other hand, I like the external SD and waterproof specs. So... maybe the A52 5G looks good on paper. I don't really love the phone. The 5a seems to have addressed the waterproof disparity but not the expandable memory issue.

Me, 26 Aug 2021Agreeonly a blind will seek to buy this undergraded phone with some outdated sensores. Rare fingerprint on this phone is one downside. Huawei is the best champ on deck.

Was planning to get a M52 this year but apparently Samsung decided to downgrade battery of the M series. If this phone becomes available in my country I will buy it.

These are arriving early for some of us. I received mine earlier today and it's quite nice. I actually had a Pixel 5 that was destroyed beyond repair and opted to replace it with the 5a and it's....well, freakishly similar feeling. Not a bad thing though.

I had a Sony phone a few years ago with side mounted fingerprint sensor, and while it worked OK I really did not like it as much as a rear mounted one...so YMMV.

Google is yet again insulting 90% of the world by selling the phone in only 2 countries. Even for googles abismal track record for pixel availability this is a new low.

Great smartphone, but it would be enough to have a Snapdragon 875 for this smartphone.
