Pixel 5a, should I upgrade to Android 12?
Been holding off on updating due to battery drain complaints and waiting for bugs to get fixed, are the battery issues still a thing and what other quirks does it have? Looking for some good advice

why the video call quality of google pixel phones is horrible. in the mild lightening condition the camera shows the worst results. why is this so?

(Battery life) If you only care about battery life, you could get a budget phone (such as Poco M4 Pro, Redmi 10 or Realme 8) with even better battery life. If not, they are different in, well, different areas. A52s and Pixel 5a both have amazing battery, cameras and water resistance. A52s just has a faster chip and charging.

Anonymous, 09 Mar 2022How the camera on this phoneIt is great. True to life colours, blue tint sharp and detailed good dynamic range. in fact if you only care about cameras, battery life and water resistance, this phone is the way to go. Samsung photos are a bit more saturated, your choice.

You will easily get through the day using Spotify, YouTube, texting, emails, video calls, etc. I've had no overheating issues using 4k@60fps or any overheating in general like what I've been reading and hearing from reviewers. Sure, it gets a little warm while using multiple apps but what smartphone doesn't lmao.

Call it pure Android experience and software optimization. Add to that the wonderful camera performance.
