Very poor finger sensor..not expected this in flagship phone like Google..very disappointed and heavy in weight also .. camera design may better.

Just got this phone a week ago. Don't like it. Too quirky in design, feels like it was designed for the use of Google engineers. To take one example, you can't power off in the normal way by pressing the power button - you have 3 options, press power button and then say to Google assistant "Power off" or you can press the power button and the volume up button at the same time or you can swipe down from the top twice and that shows a tiny power button below the notification shade. Hard to talk to machines if there is noise around so I tried holding the power button and volume up button at the same time. This rarely works, most of the time you only succeed in pushing up the volume. This is not an impossible problem but the design of the phone is full of techie quirks like this that has made me decide to get rid of it. (Added point) I don't like feeling forced to use Google Assistant. It's a bit like Microsofft forcing people to use Edge - I rebel instinctively.

Sorry fo... moreYou could get Pixel 6, or, since you are buying a new phone in October, you could wait for Pixel 6a, which will be better value. 6a may have same screen and chip as Pixel 6, and will have improved battery and fingerprint sensor. 6a will also have the same "5 years of software updates".
Now iPhones will also be a great purchase, especially the 12 or 13 mini, as they are small, and if you want a small phone (the pixel 6 is very big and bulky compared to phones) and iPhones are a great choice.

Hello, i want to ask for an opinion from you guys. Sorry for my bad english.
I'm planning to buy a new device after almost 4yrs using xiaomi reno5. I expect to purchase a new phone this october (yes, when pixel 6 reach 1yr old, and i cant buy new released phone if i want to buy flagship-level phone). Can you guys give me opinion which one should I pick? Pixel 6 or another phone? Consider that i'm targeting iPhone 12/13mini and for long-term use (4-5 years, haha)

Fan of the Pixel line but this one is not for me. Love my 5. Wish list for the P7... go back to the smaller form factor, go back to fingerprint sensor on the back, carry on with the latest processor/camera and I'm a buyer. I'm skipping this gen.

Hows the selfie camera compared to pixel 6 pro? Is difference in quality too big? Is pixel 6 pro worth it for 300$ more just for the selfie camera? I care about selfie camera. How does it fare compared to previous pixel selfie cameras? A quick response shall be appreciated.

Been using this device for a month and have had 0 scratches, no slips and no crashes. Fingerprint is also NOT that bad. But not the best, I agree. I have used back fingerprint sensor from older pixels and ultrasonic one from samsung. It is worse than those. But still better than face unlock of Apple and side fingerprint sensor of cheap Xiaomi.
You guys are so funny posting these wrong stuff that you saw from YouTubers as if it has happened to you in Anonymous profiles

I wish like apple even pixel gives us the option to mute these sounds... Specially screenshot, that is not hampering anyone's privacy....

The reason there are laws which make the company to mandatory follow the rules. And clicking pics without th affirmation from the other person is not allowed.
In India nobody bothers as a result you have phones where you can mute the sound
