1900 Bucks for that?! Lol For under 500 $ you can buy similar phone - Xiaomi Mi11 Lite 5G 8Gb, fantastic and cheap mid-ranger.

They made the chip with samsung so it's probably a exynos chip with extra AI smarts baked in. So i think it should be fine.

I don't like iOS or Face ID but their iPhone 12/13 minis are much more comfortable to hold. And even they can feel a little bulky compared to the original SE.
If only Google made the regular 6 smaller because they made it an XL phone. The no-XLs were always much better to hold at 20 mm shorter, 6 mm narrower, and 50 g lighter.

207g far too heavy to be comfortable to use for me. Apple are really giving people the choice on the size and weight of a phone you prefer. The amount of handsets in the Android camp but dont seem to have that choice all roughly the same :( Come on lets see a few compact and minis to choose from and by that i dont mean budget low end. The pixel 5 is a good size shame the new one is such a jump up in weight

You can also buy pixel pass and get a new pixel in 2023

For anyone wondering about the update situation, they will get 3 years of Android version updates (same as before) and 5 years of security updates (+2).
That is a move in the right direction but still cannot compete with Apple whose phones are now at 7 years of iOS major updates (IPhone 6s), and 7 (iPhone 6) or 8 (iPhone 5s) years of security updates.

Remember Snapdragon and even Mediatek spent years refining and optimising their chips, and from each chip generation the next becomes better. Google doesn't have those experiences and even Samsung manufacturing it doesn't help cause their exynos are still inferior to Snapdragon. The lower price could also be a hint that the performance isn't on par with current competition.

Personally, the way it's designed, I think the camera bar makes it structurally sound, and since case lifts up a bit above camera ring, it supports the bar for protection.
