I'm also from Sri Lanka and been thinking of buying the Pixel 6 but was holding back because I've seen a lot of people complain about signal dropping issues. should I avoid this phone? how often do these drops happen and does it become annoying? have you found any fixes?

Sharing my personal experience, ju... moreI bought Google nexus 6p it was a good phone that time after 1 year and half the phone bootlooped, I didn't know that 6p has to many issues. So until now I'm staying away from Google phones they are unreliable and until now they dont do anything to resolve there software issue especially when you update your software.. Stay away from Google phones

Phone keeps dropping calls, initially I thought it was a software bug, but it's a hardware issue that won't really go away, maybe google should come up with a way to address this.. Overall it's a very good phone...But network connectivity is a huge issue with this phone

100% correct..pixel phones are not good.. Only fanboys say it's good & clean.... Till today they can't put a good fingerprint sensor..how funny is that

Everything about my pixel 6 is perfect except the network connectivity. Very frequent signal drops when making voice calls, at times unable to complete a call at all, and really is frustrating. All the software updates were not able to address this issue. Unfortunately we don't have Google pixel support centre here in Sri Lanka to rectify it too.

Avoid any google phone. Sharing my personal experience, just in case it may help someone. Otherwise please ignore.- Basic phone features like calling & receiving don't work many times. Leave wifi and mobile network, which is anyway unreliable.- Their back camera glass cracked most of the time with a small change in temperature. Moving from very hot to cold or vice versa.- They are aware of this issue so purposefully their phone accessories are not covered in warranty.- Check xda-developer, reddit , timeofindia, android authority. Google is aware of that but silent .- And replacement costs are almost the same as a new phone. Please note it's not covered under warranty.- Pixel are more like Chinese phones. Use and throw if there is any issue because of the below service reason.-Their after sale service is pathetic. B2X is the service partner.- One day any phone will require a service centre visit. And 99.99% of people will regret buying any Google phones. The B2X service cost is not only very expensive but also unreliable. They don't follow the concept of repair but only rely on replacing parts. Also they will choose what to fix and it's not in your hand what you want to get fixed. In my case I only want my Pixel 2 battery to be replaced but they shared the estimate which includes display & battery both. My display was perfect and I ran the screen test before courier to them. But as I mentioned it's not in your hand what you want to get fixed. So they asked me to accept or reject. In case of rejection phone will be sent unrepaired & initial fee of Rs 850/- will also not be returned. The First time I accepted it, which I regret now. As I mentioned, their service is also unreliable. Now the phone freezes at G logo. Once again, I sent my phone. Rs 850 charged again and this time they sent a new estimate which included replacement of the main board and USB of Rs 36612.57. I escalated the issue to google and they sent me a mail that they will not fix it for free. So no option but to reject the estimate .- My Pixel 2 cost approx Rs 32000 with a bank offer. But till now their repair cost is ~Rs50000 (36612.57 (Main board & USB) -Rejected +13000 (Display & battery).- Accepted) - They make more money in service than selling new phones. Check phone cost and repair cost.

I'm quite happy with the pixel 6 EXCEPT for the Audio power when you plug earphones trough a usb-c to jack 3.5mm dongle. I'm comparing directly to my last phone ( Samsung S10+) wich had a more powerfull audio chip. Without using the equaliser, the sound lacks so much bass and if you turn on the bass boost you can hear the whole volume shuting down a milisecond after ''trying'' to produce bass. Turn off bass boost and try to reduce treble and mid and you'll get the best result posible. If you like to listen to your music LOUD like me, you'll need and external amp but i'm more interested into a pair of powerfull bluetooth earbuds. Hope it'll work !

Battery Charging capacity listed is incorrect. While officially google sells 30W charger (separately) for the phone, the phone itself only supports 22W max

swa, 21 Oct 2021207g too heavy? you wanted it to be weightless? how?This phone is too heavy to be comfortable for me. And it's too slippery to use without a case, making it even bulkier.

Worst phone I have ever had. Battery average, fingerprint scanner poor but scan the same finger a few times and it becomes usable, some apps don't like screen sharing and take a few goes to work even though they worked fine on previous Samsung.
Biggest issue for me is the Bluetooth and Android auto, constantly falls to connect to vehicle and when it does it's 50 50 if the calls come through to the vehicle. I've reinstated/ updated apps, had the vehicle stereo checked and tried it on another car. Do a lot of driving so need it to work. As stated earlier previous Samsung worked flawlessly.
As you can't roll back if I update to Android 13 it's something I'm not prepared to do as I don't trust Google. Seen to many battery draining issues with 13, just going to stick it out until January then buy a refurbished Note 10 which never failed.

this phone is nice but the UI interface is very bad and it seems like 15k Mobile recently my friend brought it UI is like 15k mobile
