And I am very happy that I did. You will get better cameras and better SOT on Pixel 6a. But apart from that, the Pixel software experience is in a league of its own. And some functions like Magic Eraser, Live transcription are very useful.
As far as heating issues are concerned, I haven't faced any till now in regular use or while using camera(I dont play games so i cant say how it will behave in that scenario.)
As far as the low refresh rate issue goes, I do admit that 90Hz would have been better. But if you are upgrading from 60Hz display, it shouldn't be a dealbreaker. The fluid OS ensures that even 60Hz is reasonably smooth.

If those are your options, don't go by camera. Go by OS. Most people (including myself) choose Android over iOS because of customisation, easiness of opening certain files, back button/icon, etc...i'm also writing this from a Macbook. So i'm not against Apple - in fact i choose their laptops. Everything else i own is Samsung tho (tablet, watch and phone)...but my next phone will most likely be the Pixel 7. It all depends on battery for me personally. Samsung has worse and worse batteries.
So long story short, look beyond camera...because both the 6a or the iphone 12 will give you good quality there..

Those who bought this phone for Rs 44,000 are now slapped in the face. You can buy this phone now for just Rs 27699. It's a pity...I think it is sold at such a low price because it has good heating and the battery does not hold charge

Using this phone from past 3 weeks.
Absolutely wonderful experience. I don't think we need to think about any other phone ( except iPhone) if you have a Pixel.

Have anybody tried to use two SIMs in dual mode in USA? I am interested if it can be done for US SIM as eSIM and foreign SIM in roaming mode as a physical SIM?
