    android 14 done. battery improved a lot. screen is responsive. i did not update the camera because a lot of pixel users in playstore updated theirs and its a negative feedback. bad update for camera. im good with my camera so i will not update mine.

        what happened to the android 14 update in my 6a? It is now gone. I need a stable update because I can't buy another phone. Hope Google provides a stable update. Hate it when they try to bloat your device and slow it down to buy another expense.

          Just get GrapheneOS, the only reason why I am bought this garbage from Google. Because GrapheneOS is available only on Pixel (plasticity phone).

              It's better to upgrade OS ASAP once you receive Android 14. Don't wait or hold, it will disappear and you will never have a chance to upgrade it. TBH I regretted for waiting just to fix bugs. I'm now stucked at Android 13 and I will never have a chance to upgrade it.

Even if the reviews say rhe screen ... moreThat's not the case for me, The Screen is gorgeous and perfectly visible indoor and sunny outdoor. Battery life is much better than 6a, 0 network issues, amazing camera quality. Overall an amazing phone, but truth is all new phones feel amazing, until about 1 year mark, then all the flaws becomes obvious.
                I loved 6a too but network and battery life completely ruined for me.

                    7 months user, used all of the settings suggestions from internet, network issue and battery life is just the worst, everything else is ok. Not touching pixel ever again. Switched to A54.

                          Updated my 6a to Android 14 and this make me throw this phone away....from a gem to a junk...bataery drainage become crazy (50% over night) if I turned on the alarm clock. And it become a warm bag whenever you put it in your pocket. What a junk update, I used it with Android 13 for over a year and this never happend. What a shame for google team.

                            I have had nothing but issues with Pixel 6A stuck with it now can't afford a new phone. Does not let me do anything does not play nice with my other devices. Most often doesn't notify me of income message or call. Won't recommend it to anyone.

I had 5a die... morei forgot this incident. maybe in pixel they implant updates to bloat our phones. forgot to tell my experience using samsung chromebook.. last update wrecked my samsung chromebook 3 keyboard. keys were unresponsive tried everything. using pixel 6a im still on android 13. i hate bugs glitches errors and waste of money. never again will i update.

                                Also this was the first and only phone with Android 12L out of the box.

                                  Only because of GrapheneOS buys Pixel devices. I had 5a died suddenly, unexpectedly, without any signs beforehand. I lost a lot of data. I bought 7 is big, bulky poorly made. After a few months started to have problems. No more of this mess. Time to buy a Sony.

                                      to enjoy your pixel change your
                                      1. stock wallpaper to any wallpaper you like. sometimes bug comes from stock wallpapers.
                                      2. turn off features you don't intend to use. Mine I turned off my adaptive battery to off. minimize gestures, keyboard etc.
                                      3. disable apps you don't need. It eats ram and storage space. minimalist approach.
                                      4. I used pear launcher its almost the same as stock pixel launcher but not a battery hog.

                                        Hello gsmarena.. Im a sammy user. First tried this google pixel 6a. Im from PH. I don't buy high end phones. I don't use apple. Mostly entry level and midrange android I use. They sell here pixel 6a. I don't know if it is brand new or refurbished. Taxes are high here. In America its 199 usd converted here its 300usd. When charging for the first time it gets hot. The screen and phone is hot but still I can hold it. When I was using Galaxy a51 same happens to me like pixel. So I tried to declutter the phone from its features. Change it to minimalist phone. Got myself a wallpaper and seems like pear launcher does its job from tuning the stock pixel launcher. Disabled stuffs I dom't intend to use. The camera of pixel 6a is the best for its price. 5g is disabled here. 4G is best in my country. I am not a heavy user. I just use it for camera, surfing, youtube, amazon prime because I have 360 days free with a purchase on my sim, Sms texting and calls. Haven't put on social media apps like fb, tiktok and instagram. I am still on learning mode. Pear launcher gives me good battery backup. Next time I would try Nova launcher for customization.
