    Angry pixel user, 15 Jan 2024The January 5th update messed up everything, The heat and t... moreI should point out that this reported mess up did not happen in my case, and guessing from the lack of other user reports, does not apply to most pixel 6a users. Hence, it could be something else causing the overheat issues. People reporting this stuff should use a battery monitor app to determine which processes are eating up their juice, before rushing to conclusions.

      The January 5th update messed up everything, The heat and the battery drainage is unbearable, this is what happens when they're "making improvements and fixing little bugs" they end up messing up the whole software.

Ho... moreI've moved to Android 14 a couple of days ago and I'm telling you, the battery life is even better. Granted this device has only been with me for about 5 months, the battery is fantastic. easily get 8-9 hours SOT on wifi (scrolling, tiktok, insta reels) and 5-6 SOT on full data when im out for work.

                                      Defendist, 04 Dec 2023after updating to android 14 i have heating issue and fast ... moreIt's because it's the beta version of Android 14 I've elected to stay at Android 13 untill 14 is completed. However my pixel 6 says I'm running 14 but it also says download and install 14 now but I keep cancelling it so I'm not entirely sure if I'm on 13 or 14 but my battery is giving me 8 to 11hrs screen on time depending if I use the camera or game I'll get 8hrs and 11 if I rarely game or camera use.
