Anonymous, 29 Aug 2023S21FE has got the same, plus is much better phone than medi... moreThe Pixel 7 actual takes the best low light photos among those mentioned (S21FE, Oneplus 10T, Pixel 7). The battery life is not the best, but it really isn't bad at least based on my experience using it with 4G since Google disabled 5G in unsupported countries. I think the Pixel 7 battery could be worse with 5G enabled by Google so can't comment on 5G use. But if 5G is important to you, definitely stay away from ANY PIXEL phone (not just the Pixel 7).

Tasfique Rafsan, 25 Aug 2023I'm planning to buy a new phone. But I'm confus... moreGet the S21FE snapdragon 888 version or the Oneplus 10T if you don't care much about high quality camera output in low light and need 5G support. If low light image quality is important to you, and don't care about 5G, get the Pixel 7. Just don't get any Exynos based Samsung since Exynos is inferior to their snapdragon counterpart and you won't be able to sideload excellent GCam ports with Night Sight unless you have a snapdragon processor.

Search somewhere else, not here where huge level of hype is present.
I've got Pixel 7 and Samsung Galaxy S21. It's huge difference between them, all in favour of S21.

Pixel 7 camera is hype, pictures are dark, blueish, colours are not natural, strange shadows appears on faces because of software that makes one pixel out of four, battery is crap after few months, etc.

I'm planning to buy a new phone.
But I'm confused about which one should I buy among these three (S21 FE or OnePlus 10T or Pixel 7)

My purpose is normal day-to-day use, social media scrolling, photography, videography, also editing those, and I'm not a heavy gamer but sometimes once or twice a week, I play PES & PUBG mobile for recreation. Basically, I'm a phone-oriented person so I spend a lot amount of time on my phone.

**P.S: Currently, I'm using OnePLus 8T, but for dead pixel/Green Line issues, I'm changing this one.

So enlighten me which one should I purchase?

Kulunwele, 23 Aug 2023I am about to purchase a new phone and I can't decide ... morego for pixel 7

I am about to purchase a new phone and I can't decide between S21 FE (436€) and Pixel 7 (459€).

I prefer S21 FE than Pixel 7 in everything except Camera but that is not important to me. I saw also that Pixel 7 has better battery life (I guess because it is 90Hz screen instead of 120Hz).

I would go for the S21 FE 6GB RAM instead of Pixel 7 8GB RAM but I am scared about that RAM difference.

This is my question, ¿S21 FE (SD 888 and 6 RAM) or Pixel 7 (Tensor 2 and 8 RAM)?

idk if it's just my phone but my selfie camera can never focus on me and seems to be always focusing on the background
I looked it up and many people have the same issue. Dunno wether it's a qc or software issue.

Many phones can take average pics and clips, and what it matter the most is your skill (both for taking shots and editing).
So don't be carried away by youtubers hypes.

The "heat issues" and "heat while using data" are on par with the experience when using Exynos cpu.

But until Google learns its lesson, they will stick with it, it seems.

It is definitely one of the smartphones of all time. Certainly meets expectations for the most part, beautiful display, can run games decently and take great photos. However, given how much credit the pixel 7 gets for its camera, I certainly expected much more from its video-taking capabilities. I am very unimpressed by their 8x "super res zoom", videos always turn out soft and blurry. It's so bad that my 4-year old oppo reno takes better zoomed videos, and goes up to 10x. I guess I am a fool for not getting the 7 pro instead, or any other phone for that matter.

This is a great phone with great specs, good cameras and display also feels so good and is very responsive.
The only issue with overheating even when doing noting (just keep it connected to internet), I don't have any games installed only socials and browser but most of the time temperature reach 38-40 degrees Celsius just by browsing thru the apps like: Facebook, Insta, Twitter or browser.
For this reason also the battery depleates very fast, so a few times / day I have to swich it off 5-10 mins to cool down. Battery never last 1 complete day (because of overheating).
This could be a perfect phone but is just so unreliable because of poor thermal management ( i have it already since 5 months and with each software update I thought will improve but unfortunatelly nothing good happend regarding thermals and battery life).
Also I keep it only at 4G and WiFi because if I switch to 5G it overheats even worse...
If Android 14 will not solve this issues, I will make sure this is first and last Google flagship I own (sadly).

Excited with pixel 8. Small screen is what i prefer. Hope battery optimization is better than its predecessor.

Ignore my previous post, I did not buy the Pixel 7. I bought the 7 Pro.

Almost two month with this phone. My options about Pixel 7 (UK version):
                                        + Photo quality superb.
+ Video quality good (iPhone still unbeatable though).
+ Love the flat display and the quality is good (still readable under sunlight).
+ Speakers is good but nothing special.
                                        + Battery is average (avg. SoT 5h - 5h.30mins-ish).
+ Fluid OS as expected from Pixel phones.
+ Love the design and metal camera housing mich better than glass one.

                                        - Heat management is poor. Can get warm easily if you record video (especially 5mins+).
                                        - Using cellular data also leads to warm back cover (although I don't have poor signal reception).
                                        - Average charging speed if you compared this phone with others like BBK phones.

The main concern about this phone for me is heat management since I live in Indonesia. But as long as you have WiFi I think I can tolerate it. Let's see if Google will switch to TSMC instead still with Exynos.
