When taking a photo of full 50 megapixels, and RAW format, the software takes a bit to process, store and convert the photo format. This is not a very important thing, but it is a "nona-core" processor with 12 GB of RAM, and it is supposed to act fast, but it isn't.

F**k Google for choosing Scamsung instead of TSMC. Worst company ever Scamsung's crappy exynos and crappy modem .. Scamsung is just a shitty company just as their bloated shitty phones. I just hate anything the fact that they choose one of the worse SOC and modem for the most gorgeous phone ever .. I mean look at that blue colour. Uff can''t stop kissing it and then you hear the word Scamsung exynos.. Google Remake this exact phone desgin in blue colour in 2025 as Pixel 10 Pro... With TSMC fab chip and Modem... Stay away from Scamsung forever. You fool!

This phone actually has the most features from all phones starting with circle to search and ending with video boost features. Best auto camera mode from all phones, 7 years of security updates, updates straight from google.

Battery endurance significantly lower than other well-known phones on the market like the S23 Ultra. It looks like this phone has nothing to offer.

Just because it doesn't satisfy you, doesn't mean it's doesn't deserve award Lol! 8 series has almost everything that a consumer needs at a very much lower price. Although OnePlus 12 is also another worthy option for award.

The phone itself has 3 speakers - one large at the top and two small ones at the bottom. The speaker placed at the left side is always performing low on benchmarks - you can even place your ears on the each and every individual speakers when you play a song... The left one was made, for an uknown bizare reason smaller and it downgrades the performance. GSMArena are having the correct score in regards to the audio, is maximum 60 percent performance. The design is ok, but this is the main problem. Why Google shrinked the site of the left speaker? The phone doesn't have an S-pen like Samsung... So, what was the purpose of this strange decision?!

How did this phone won the best cellphone criteria at MWC, when it's overall degree of satisfaction towards customers is roughly 60 percent? They just thrown the prize, without looking at the consumers degree of satisfaction. Most of us are not happy with its specs at all.

My zfold 4 has horrible battery life, someone is offering to trade it for a pixel 8 pro, should I do it?

I have had the Pixel 8 Pro since it has been offered to the public. It is an upgrade from the iPhone 11 Pro Max which I still use when I travel. Initially I wanted the iPhone 15 Pro Max but Apple does not sell the International version in the States. I need a physical SIM tray when I travel but the US version only comes with eSIM. I'll definitely purchase the A3105 version when I am in Tokyo in May. I then looked into getting the OnePlus12 but it was not due out until January and my trip was in December. So, I decided to go with the Google Pixel Pro 8. I have not had buyer's remorse, and I doubt I will. The phone is exactly what I need when I travel minus the Google Wallet issue - see below. No battery issues nor the dreaded overheating issues. I have streamed in 100+ heat in Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore with no issues. The phone was in the shade or covered under an umbrella not directly in the sun.

The only issue I have experienced with the Google Pixel 8 Pro has been with the Google Wallet in regards to Boarding Passes. Unfortunately, Google Wallet seems to have an issue with my first-middle-last name on Boarding Passes. It leaves off two letters of my middle name. This is why I still carry my iPhone 11 Pro Max as Apple's Wallet works flawlessly with Boarding Passes. Anybody that travels as much as I do knows how convenient it is to check in with our phones and have the Boarding Pass in the Wallet. I'm not holding my breath on Google fixing it anytime soon.

Note: I don't play games or watch YT videos, so I can't comment on those experiences.
