karim salah, 24 Jan 2024Is that really true even after applying all the updates? Yes even after the updates. It’s bad since 6-7th series. Anybody who wants to buy pixel. Dont’t do it. Battery could pain. It’s best of camera phones but battery is bad. Even my Iphone X, SE with old batteries last better i would say. People who want to buy it don’t do it. I was hyped about Camera but soon i realized that good Camera and bad Battery is not an option for me. When device cost 1200€ then it needs to be perfect without any issues. 7 years updates is good but you need to change the battery i guess 3-4 times between these years.
Im only buying Pixel again when battery issue is fixed. 9th is 9 months away. Then we see if this problem with battery is gone or not.
I reccomend not to buy this model if you are not wanting to be slave of your charger. Buy S24 series or Iphone 15th or Some Xiaomi series.

Can a real owner of the device tell... moreWell i have owned the device about 2 weeks by now. And battery life is very bad. Don't Reccomend this phone. I turned down many settings, but still battery drains way too quick for example listenening to music etc. If you use social media apps, and some other apps are open then i guess you need to charge 2-3 times a day. If u use them very often.
Go for Samsung S24 or Iphone 15 Series. I was on the same boat, wanted to try something new. But im not happy at all. Maybe one day if battery issue is gone i might consider Pixel again. But now im returning it.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2023How about the battery life? If you look at Pixels phones' track record starting with Pixel 5, only the Pixel 5a managed to score beyond 100h mark on the endurance rating tests; everything else scored between 80-96 at best.

Pros:
• Great camera quality overall.
Cons:
• Battery life is not competitive.
• While improved, charging speed is still behind the curve.

The main camera is excellent but has some flaws as well.
Software seemed to be buggy here and there, I don`t think it will get better over time, look at the Pixel 7 Pro thread. More likely bugs will get worse...
