Hi, in my country as a freelancer i have the rights to buy (new) samrtphone without vat, so the prices of some phones are as follows:
1. Google Pixel 8 Pro (12GB RAM / 128GB ROM) - €528
2. Google Pixel 8 (8GB RAM / 128GB ROM) - €432
3. Google Pixel 9 (12GB RAM / 128GB ROM) - €623
4. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE (8GB RAM / 128GB ROM) - €452
5. OnePlus 12 (12GB RAM / 256GB ROM) - €665
6. Samsung Galaxy S24(8GB RAM / 128GB ROM) - €536
What do you recommend? keep in my mind that i dont play games, and i dont have social media, so the battery is not a issue for my use.

djdanutzul, 03 Nov 2024Hi. I debated between Pixel 8 pro and S23 Ultra. After few ... moreWow! I actually agree with all of those points, I also have an s23 ultra and at pixel 8 Pro and after using them side-by-side for a few months I can honestly say that the pixel 8 Pro does almost everything better than the s23 ultra including photos. In fact, the only thing that s23 ultra has over the pixel 8 Pro is that it has an S-Pen which I don't even use. The fact that you can get a pristine condition pixel 8 Pro these days for £460 is an absolute steal!!

Hi. I debated between Pixel 8 pro and S23 Ultra. After few days of using Both phones I can say Pixel 8 pro is much more a day to day phone with a great camera. Easy to hold and smooth experience. Battery which everyone complains, I couldn't be more happier. Normal day use I get around 50,% in the evening, with 2h of screen on during the day. S23 Ultra last longer on wireless but when connected to network the battery was similar during the day.
Been holiday and took lots of pictures and never run out of battery during the day. Connectivity is brilliant, better than S23 Ultra, places where S23 Ultra completely lost network Pixel was just fine without cutting the conversation.
Comparing pictures from both phones, Samsung S23 was hit and miss , but pictures oversaturated and blurry most of the times and when zooming getting a white tint to the picture. On Pixel you just get consistent photos and good colour control.
I cannot be more happier with my pixel 8 pro!

I need help picking a replacement for my moto g power 2020. Google Pixel 8 Pro is on sale rn for the same price as the S24FE ($649.99). Is it better to get the pixel on sale or just get the S24FE?

Sadly I'm having to send back my pixel 8 Pro due to the vibration motor being faulty and producing a pinging sound. But I'm still keeping my pixel 7 Pro and hoping that it will also get Android 15. Not too long in a distant future.

I can definitely say 100% using Android 15 Beta it's so stable and all stuttery issues on apps have totally gone. YouTube, BBC News, Instagram among many apps are now buttery smooth. Only thing I don't like is new settings menu is a bit bland with just grey no colour at all
