Lugia4k, 23 Oct 2023Notebookcheck confirms that Google has blocked benchmarking... moreGoogle isn't blocking benchmarks, it isn't available in the Play Store because the Pixel 8 pro runs Android 14 and isn't compatible with older SDK and benchmarks target older SDK in order to be compatible with older devices.
You can just download GeekBench or any other benchmark APK and it'll work fine.

It sure seems like GSM ARENA has a bias against reviewing Google phone's in full review or in a timely manner. Apple, Samsung, Google and Motorola are the most popular and widely available brands in America. The fact that they have done this consistently is strange. Nobody in the US even has access to a VIVO, Xaomis, Honors and most other no name unavailable brands but the reviews are here. You clearly have American or Canadian reviewers. How is this possible?

On other note, why is GSM arena taking so long to put a final review for the pixel 8 and 8pro. Are they hiding something? I thought the review embargo was lifted. Are they awaiting the latest firmware?

Wait... moreThis not the reason why Pixel 8 pro throttling the mean reason why pixel throttle is that data encrypted by default same as iPhone try to encrypt data on other android phone with VC and you'll see how's the phone lags and throttling fast.

I have Pixel 8 Pro since last week and i did not experience any overheating issues like some people here complain i think many of those who complain here does not have the phone at all and it is not good too complain if you dont have the phone after one week of use this is by far the best experience i have hade in a long time battery life on the Pixel 8Pro is actually very good camera performance is also top notch and the software is good enough optimize their may some smale issues here and their but that will be fixed in future updates .

Again, Google skipped a vapor chamber, that is the reason for the heating or throttle of the phone, even the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 heats and throttle a lot if there isn't an adequate cooling (Z Flip 5)

Waiting until Google starts incorporating VC chamber for cooling next year. You cannot just relay on graphite tape to cool a $1k smartphone device. Too many corners cut.

For those of you who own a Google Pixel, I know Pixel doesn't has a good cleaning app like Samsung Devices Care, download CCleaner, it's a life changer it takes care of, Cache, storage and Memory........
