    The phone works great looks great but it's just unbearable warm .I have a feeling that have some sensor to make my hands warm bcs as soon as I touch if it is getting very warm and after a cold Samsung phone is makes me pretty annoyed. Phone is defect and it's not worthy of your money.Just buy Samsung or iPhone if you want a good phone bcs google is a BIG disappointment yo me.

By design it will throttle the charge for the last 10% to 20%, that's for improved battery longevity as lithium batteries prefer a range of roughly 30% to 70%. Even Apple does it. But somehow no one complains there...? Maybe for people who treat their phone like a throwaway device, an option to disable that might be "good". 79 minutes for a full charge, mere 47 if you call it a day at 80% (again, assuming 0%). Perfectly normal.

Makes practically no difference in actual usage, but whatever, even if it seems like a bit of jab at top end pricing. But can we please stop this silly trend of "my phone needs to charge as fast as a copper wire can possibly deliver before melting"? Honestly, anyone who needs to top up their phone THAT quickly needs to clean up their running apps or should carry a power bank. I've used 21W thus far and that's plenty fast for anything in a 4000 to 5000 mAh range. Are you guys running from internet cafe to internet cafe all-day long while gaming on the go or filming it all in 4K? I am actually curious what use demands such high voltages/short charging cycles. It takes roughly 30min for a 50% charge. I don't get how that isn't enough, let alone anywhere near slow.

            1h 30min 0-100% charging. Google you can do better. Waiting for under an 1h next year

                  Honestly and i dont want to be rude i really appreciate google try but my Motorola Edge 40 pro for 789 bucks cost way less and does way more tricks apart maybe the updates.
                  But phone works perfectly and at least i am not bothered by updating like with samsung or google every week or so.
                  Now the said phone cost even less.
                  Soon Oneplus 12 will be available for sale and it will be best phone money can buy. This google pixel 8 pro will wither in sandstorm and will ahve its space in history books but apart from that nothing impressive becasue many other companies makes a lot better things for same or even cheaper price.
                  Google is nothing but a brand name.
                  Like anyone is interested in phone which can charge from flat to 100% in like 2 hours or so.
                  No thanks. My Moto Edge 40 pro can charge within 15-20 minutes and i wouldnt go to anything slover no matter what plus nice 100 in accesories in box.
                  Google is not impressive anymore.
                  I wouldnt keep my phone for 5 or more years just because updates are still available but every 2 years i would like to have something new from my network carrier and sell my old phone when it have value. In like 5 years this google ouixel will be worth maybe 50 or 100 and noone will buy outdated device with outdated hardware unable to run new apps, games and many else.

                        Great design ... but the "Pixel Experience" inside is very bad (camera excluded) due to bad components : limited battery, outdated FP, weak SoC, weak modem and of course it's overpriced !

Faster storage will always show more comparable improvements on a smartphone compared to faster internet speeds, since y'know the main thing about a smartphone is loading up apps.

                                is it just me but the phone gets warm quickly not hot but warm and stays warm does anyone els

                                  I find it more useful since the phone is stable of flat surfaces and it is easier to record videos with the phone in the front shirt pocket.
