They seemed to have just vanished with last minute notice that it's stopping 😭 so I'm going to assume by the 6th year the updates will stop due to unforeseen changes.

I do like the sounds of the 8 Pro. But I am not entirely convinced by Google’s promise of 7 years of updates. For one thing, it just makes me think that we will still be stuck on mobile phones, with annual updates, going into the 2030s. How boring! We need the Next Big Thing.
