Their A... moreYes, keep your 1000 dollar phone with UFS:3.1 having a 4.0 inefficient chip, main sensor from almost 4 years ago or more and more problems that phone has oh and optical fingerprint sensor, the same one that cheap Chinese phones have ! good luck with that... when google takes things seriously I'll be back

Anton., 08 Oct 2023Better said, impossible!! And be careful, I like the pixels... more$1699. in Australia. went up $400. compared to last year. and you still don't get anything for free. a $00. store credit that is it. and Google here does not do trade in. so you have to go through a carrier or retail store. i would rather they left it at $1299.

just a question. can the 8 pro really do 1 to 120htz. i was playing with the phone yesterday. and it says it can do 60 to 120htz in the settings.

Anton., 08 Oct 2023Better said, impossible!! And be careful, I like the pixels... moreNo one is interested in that? Are you kidding lol!! Their AI makes a big difference... Camera is awesome, and no bloatware... You can stock with a S23, I'll take the pixel any day over that or an iPhone...

And be careful, I like the pixels and the clean Android experience!! but this is not worth 1000 dollars, not with that obsolete hardware and with the excuse of AI, almost no one is interested in that... let's see what they bring with next year's pixel 9 pro, meanwhile, Apple is waiting for me

This phone is gonna be the fail of the year. There are benchmarks and videos for this already, but the fanboys don’t want to listen:
                - Stability benchmark much inferior to other flagships
                - Average GIPS inferior to the G2
                - No Vapor chamber in either models
                - Only the pro gets all the AI features
                - Google website claims the battery is same as pixel 7s and inferior to pixel 6s

And then they talk about AI and user experience. For 680€ I can get a 256gb S23 that has better thermals, better battery, better processor, literally better everything (except maybe cameras and the OS depending ou your taste)

This phone isn’t even worth 1000€. Google is fooling people with their preorder bonus trash and keeping the embargo until that expires.

very nice set but price 1100 euro way too high it should have been 899 or better 799 to be a true best seller so i keep my phone longer

DankMeat69, 07 Oct 2023Honestly really want to buy the 8P because of how good it s... moreWhere is it good? I don't want to upset you, but the P8 shouldn't cost more than $470, since the heating problem is solved to the detriment of performance, I generally doubt that those leaks had anything to do with the regular version, since they said that the tensor would be 20% more powerful, a new method of packaging the chip and blah blah blah is all firmware - and the usual 8 is a piece of copper foil, like in an inexpensive modem of some kind. and let me guess 8a won't get a piece of copper tape and glass so that the phone would be strangled and give out 1300 in a multi-threaded genius - but people who don't understand anything will deceive themselves because they have the same CPU, and the difference, as for me, is huge, especially since I know that this is done intentionally, somehow disgusting

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2023Curved screens are out buddy. Go back to 2020Tolerate other people's tastes!

To me the lack of a curved screen was the biggest drawback in ordering the 8P.

Honestly really want to buy the 8P because of how good it should be but also the awesome deal that Google has. TBH I very well might keep my 7P. Just sucks that the 7P WONT get more than 3 years of major OS support :/

ba, making comparisons it is almost true that this thing has the NGV which is a slight modification of the GN1, capable of recording 8K of course Google did not give that characteristic, a 2022 sensor created for the vivo x80 pro plus and some phantons!! Google and its desire to buy cheap things

functionality wise: harder to move app icon to the edge of screen, also prone to accidental press.
durability wise: making your screen easier to break, despite using cover case.
