Google with its latest phone still stuck at 27W wired charging while other companies offering 127W fast charging normally. Shame

Oh dear Google! Just like Samsung, you haven't noticed the cost of living increases experienced by the vast majority of Europe and North America.
This year's pricing for the Pixel 9 range is woeful for the 128GB base models. Whilst I buy a phone mainly for the camera capabilities coupled with an okay processor, I'll hang on for another year with my 7 Pro and maybe consider the Pixel 10 range before upgrading next year or, perhaps I'll splash-out on a Pixel 8 Pro.
A plus point of the Pixel range is how the phones offer the majority of LTE frequency bands for worldwide travellers such as myself although Sony and Samsung also offer the same for Android users along with Apple for iPhone users.
It's great to have the option of a more compact Pro model although not at the prices being charged.

Would be interesting to see how Pixel 9 Pro compares to Sony Xperia 1 VI, as they are obvious competitors with their moderate size and good cameras. Just looking specs if I would be Pixel 8 Pro user, there is no point in upgrading to 9. But from some older model... hmmm.

Yd, 16 Aug 2024why India variant getting wifi 6 only and where is BT5.4 ?Indian Government has not liberalized 6Ghz Spectrum for Wifi 6e/7 use. Blame that on Jio and Airtel who want to deploy 5G on it and kill Wifi prospects in India.

You should know that the design is Appleish because it's cheaper to produce, which is another theft. EU Commission should do something about Phone&Telekom because there's just one robbery bigger than this('Finance'/Casinos).
I dare to do the 'marxist' math : Costs of production all way to the end-user's home. Put it on your main website afterwards.

I've had Apples, Samsung Galaxys, Motorolas and a Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel has been my favorite of the bunch. Looking forward to picking up the 9 Pro.

I was exited about pixel 9 line up, especially Pixels finally arriving to my country. But as the dust settles i'm thinking that this is not the phone i'm looking for and this looks more and more last years product with the latest samsung and apple style incremental bs update.
Sure they upgraded but as i said incrementally and they even downgraded the GPU. From immortalis to back to basic mali! Why.
Looks like the only advantage on the pixel is the 7 years of Updates and the AI stuff bs is behind a pay wall.
Already started to rethink S24 series (Ultra as standard ones have Exynos garbage in europe), honor magig 6 pro or Sony phones instead of pixel.
