      Why is this review taking forever? It's been weeks and weeks now.

        I will just add that I bought this for my son to replace the 6 that I gave him last year. So far so good. Seems really nice to me for $209 with trade I wasn't going to be using that old six anyway. I looked around everywhere for a sub $300 phone and for $209, like I said before, there's just nothing that comes close. I'm not a fanboy of any kind of phone. I just buy what's best for the price. Always have and always will. I'm just waiting for the pixel 10 so I can check the reviews of the new TMC chip with the new graphics processor made by the folks who brought you the GPU in the Dreamcast.

          It's a great phone for 299. I traded my old pixel 6 in for 90 more off so for 209 I got a hell of a deal. It's almost as good as my 8 pro. Doesn't have the brightness but runs really smooth. For those who think it's not stock android it's because you are looking at the old version open source, Google just adds new features which will show up on open source once they like it good enough to be permanent. They are always adding new features, that's what makes it a pixel. All I can say is there's nothing even close for the $209 I spent on it. It's just the 9 with a different display and camera. I've had no connectivity issues whatsoever.

            Will be interested in how the modem chip fares with call connection and Wi-Fi and data power consumption.

                      Go to www.swappa.com. You could buy a new Pixel 9 for about the same price as this because the Pixel 9 has been out for a while already so you can get a good deal on them

Bottom search bar - can live with it. Don't really like using launchers, tbh. Again, performance was really good - I'd say about 80% of SD 8 Elite in daily usage. S25 felt faster - better response, animations, but... double the price.

                                        If you do not like the app search bar, we recommend that you add another launcher software.
                                        Unlike iOS, Android is designed to be forgiving.
