Google shows the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel Watch 2 in new teaser videos

At the end of last month, Google responded to Apple's announcement of its September 12 launch event by revealing that the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro would get official on October 4. It's been a little over a week from that moment, and it already seems like Google can barely contain its excitement towards its upcoming event.

Case in point: today it released two teaser videos. The first one is the more proper teaser of the two, showing very quick glimpses of products including the Pixel Watch 2 and Pixel 8 Pro. Have a look for yourself:

This wasn't enough, however, so about an hour later Google posted this next 'teaser' video, which is anything but a teaser. It's pretty much a full product reveal in 23 seconds.

Guess what: the leaks were accurate once again. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are keeping the same design language as their predecessors, with various small enhancements here and there. The Pro, for example, is rumored to add an infrared thermometer to its back for whatever reason (that's the blob under the LED flash circle in case you're wondering).

Now if we turn our attention back to the Pixel Watch 2 in the first video, it's pretty much a case of deja vu - doesn't the original Pixel Watch look exactly like this too? We are hoping that the improvements with this one lie under the hood - and let's face it, we meant 'battery life' and you read that as 'battery life' too.
