Rabbi, 14 Jun 2024Ehhh!! this time flat display. surely its a downgrade...!Its not a flat display its a quad curved display just like the honor 90 is. Its not as curved as the honor 70 but im glad its not. I think the camera looks better than the previous ones i hated that they were separate so cases didnt really work that well. I think overall its a nice upgrade and a great new look. Love the longer battery life 😊 ive just ordered the honor 200 and i cant wait.

Anonymous, 26 May 2024It's literally not, you're just a caveman who... moreIt depends on your needs. You are generalizing because you personally don't see a purpose of 3.5mm jack and SD memory slot.
For example, i like to use 3.5mm jack for my old and trusty wired headphones that are still better then most bluetooth.
I can also use it as an external microphone.
SD memory card is practical to use if you have several devices using SD memory cards like i am with my several DSLR's and APS-C cameras. I don't jave to be online to check or share my media with someone else. You can't do that with using cloud. You don't have a control.
It seems most of people when thinking about SD memory card remember the times where phones had 4GB or internal storage so SD memory card was kind of essential. Sure, SD memory card is slower but also it'd not meant for app installs. It's meant for our multimedia, so pictures and videos, maybe some music playlist. Do you need blazing fast speed for that? Of course not.
You just hate to see when someone says "hey.. why it doesn't have this or that" on a phone you personally like.
People just want a choice, an option in everything.
People calling others ignorant because they want things they need, because they want an option. Yes, that's the world we living in.
Say what you want just don't critisize the phone because army of so called phone elitists will come and tell you you live in the past and calling you names just because someone wants AN OPTION.
Dongles are NOT the solution. There are solution only for people not using them in the first place. You have to carry one or two with you all the time and imagine how much you put stress on the phone's USB-C slot when you use it for charging and plugging the headphones or a mic.
Buying cloud or be dependable on internet access are NOT the solution. For storing and sharing multimedia you don't need blazing fast speeds.
People just want options where ever they go. Why is so hard to understand and respect that?

I definitely would buy it if it had a great design like honor 200 lite. Why did they decide to make another design for 200&200pro? Why do companies make great designs for budget phones only? Does this mean they don't want my extra money and want to make me buy something cheaper instead?🤣

While yes, headphone jack and SD card slot is lacking, I've found myself not bothered by it too much. I've got Honor 50, the first honor phone since honors departure for huawei and I've been very happy since. For the wired headphones, I got a ugreen usb c to headphone jack + usb c dongle that worked great until 2 weeks ago, but what bothered me the most was the lack of stereo speakers in a mid range model like this, and it appears that Honor 200 will finally address this.
