You are right, not everything "old" is "bad"
People would be surprised how many old stuff phones still use, things even the haters would miss if gone.

I really like the specs of the vanilla 200, the design is nice and overall specs are a good improvement over 90 and 70 series wich i felt it lacked on some areas. The only thing i dont like is the lack of a good IP rating, knowing that it will probably cost 500$ globally is insane that it dosent have IP65 at least. Also it looks like they didnt talk too much about endurance of the body/screen unlike the magic 6 lite wich is cheaper.
One thing that i am curious too see is how the 3.800 pwm works on both models, the honor 90 is one of the best in this area but i think it is still not enough for users that are really sensitive like me, hoping the new series is usable for extreme sensitive users.
sorry bad english.

In fact, it's more of a problem with the major brands since they're also trying to promote their expensive bluetooth earphones and the likes meaning they're more inclined to "mistakenly" disable such cheap third-party adapters.

SD Cards are trash. Extremely slow, extremely prone to failure and just a complete waste of resources.
The 3.5mm jack is literally replaceable by the USB-C port that can offer more power to the connected audio gear + use a DAC anyway.
