Bought 4 units, tried 1 for 3 days and I have no complaint about! The only setbacks are :
1) capatitive keys don't light up
2) plastic built in the back but you'll have no problem to dwell with it given it's price
3) slighty to big (perhaps I have a smaller than usual hand)
Anyway it's a super valued for money device, it's gonna raid a lot of market share in this price range. Samsung's gonna since they prefer to use plastic as well.

4) Install Skype Check video Call
5) download VROOT and Root this Monster HONOR!!!
6)proceed with CWM Recovery
7) Do a Full Backup !!!! ( Caution!!)
8) Install Slim Kat ! ( Android 4.4.2) !~!!!!

This is China Version and doesnt have PlayStore. :-(

AnonD-264636, 17 May 2014I am facing the same problem too with my Honor 3C. Sometime... moresomeone reply me as:
"You need to set these apps as protected and also allow them to startup themselves. This is in the phone settings: Settings->Protected Apps and Settings->Startup Manager."
And now everything work fine.
Then found the keylock not really user friendly. It will simply unlock without your knowledge when put into your pocket and might run certain apps.
Disable the double touch function in motion control and hope it might help.

Traded in my Note 1 (2 years 3 months old) for a new Huawei Honor 3C... I did not pay a single cent for it.. feel regret now T_T
I think I'm really spoiled by bigger screen and sAMOLED display... Although TouchWiz tend to lagg at times in Note 1, but it is way more user friendly and more flexible. Till now I can't used to the display from Huawei.. I'm actually attracted by the Quad Core and 2GB ram but everything seems so wrong after using it for 2 weeks..
I'm putting in for sale in lelong now.. Do PM me if interested.

xian, 14 May 2014Does anyone having the notification problem for wechat, lin... moreI am facing the same problem too with my Honor 3C. Sometimes the whatsapp notifications seem to work. Most of the time they don't. As you point out xian, when you open the app, then only you see there are incoming messages. I tried uninstalling task killer apps as suggested by whatsapp FAQ. Anybody has found a solution to this problem?
