But if you got Big Budget why not buy the more monster phone like Sony Xperia XZ which is the 1st Mobile that can record video in 960fps that if you make video slow motion like water drop you will see and watch water slowly drop and shatter with details. and it also use latest processor of Snapdragon, the price is almost x3 or x4 price of honor 8. and if you want another latest phone the need big Budget. Samsung S8 latest release. the look is almost all you touch is Screen. almost near Edge less from both top and bottom. but totally edge less in both sides. use latest processor of Exynos. Both of Them is Water Resistance.

Oneplus can record 4k with OIS less shaky with high pixel camera. but honor 8 got dual cam which give color more realistic on the image and can capture image fast because of laser. sadly no 4k video record. and it has no OIS (Optical Image stabilization). but it has EIS (Electronic Image Stabiliziation). both of that EIS and OIS work make video less shaky but EIS got a Disadvantage. because its software process, while OIS is Hardware process.

30s of use? then heat? that is not normal. Return that item let them check it. mine can record video 30mins, no heat. Online gaming High graphics for 5hours heat only slight but its reasonable the game is 3gb size with ultra high graphics in 5 hours gaming with facebook messanger. but the amazing is only little heat.
your device got a problem.

I bought honor 8, but no Android 7.0 so far,
Does Indian version get nougat? Any other Indian users,
Also my Honor 8 cam gets seriously hot just after 30s of use, is this normal?

yes its true , just compare it with a5 2016 for example, but i dont really know how serious problem it is yet :(

Dear huawei, but for lhe lack of yor volte compatibility, would have purchased hnr8 by now! Pl come upwith improved version , same saphire blue color(love it), 4 gb 64 ram and dual camera!
Hope yu do it with this sized phone on one of yor upcoming models! It sure will sell like hot cakes!

Johnyp, 25 Mar 2017I have them both .mate 8 and honor 8 .mate 8 better battery... morethank u for this precious info honestly im not cam lover but sometimes we need a great cam and yeah i like honor more then mate just ask for suggestions because of its biger screen and battry for gaming ,are you sure mate is more powerful because i think they are same and last question honor 4 gb ram does make changes vs the mate 3 gb ram ? because i can't get its 4gb model

Baterry not so good as the mate 8.at the end I like much better my honor 8 .

Mate 8 or honor 8 ?
Both are same wich one is better for gamers and heavy users
I think mate is better for games and multiple windows using in ( nougat ) bcz of its bigger screen and honor is very beautiful and we can use it easily with one hand cool and beautiful mobail
Mate has big battery and big screen for gamng & honor its cheaper then mate and very beautiful mobail
Any suggestions?
