The... moreI think i know your problem now why your Battery drain fast, you forgot to activate the ROG power saving, that disable the other pixels of your display for better battery. but the changes will never saw in naked Eye. but you will see the difference a little like what you said the display is more like realistic. me im a HARD user. heavy Graphic games. from 8:00 to 18:00 with the game size of 3GB online. battery left is 15 %, but i test it only facebook and internet with youtube. from 8:00 to 18:00 battery left is sometimes 60% sometimes 50% , facebook and youtube whole day in my office.

Used Honor 8 for one week and changed it for Galaxy A5! The only reason was battery life. At my usage it wont live till 20:00, and I am not heavy user. Galaxy have 30% battery at 23:00 and thats enough juice for me.
What I liked about was camera quality both front and rear, at least at good light. At evening camera becomes very slow and it is hard to capture the moment, Samsung instead captures the moment, just snaps, and the image quality is lower but you got the image.
The fingerprint sensor on Honor 8 was superb, never let me down even with wet hands, samsung instead dont work always and with wet hands dont work at all.
The display of Honor 8 is sharper and have more natural colours.
Honor 8 looks more premium built than galaxy a5.
Honor 8 loudspeaker and sound output is kinda bad, sounds dull.
Wifi on Honor 8 was slower some how.
All and all Honor 8 is better phone than galaxy A5, but it doesnt matter if the juice ends so fast. So if you are light user, go for Honor 8. If you need juice and sound quality, choose different phone.

Used this phone for 2 weeks. Everything is good but the only things is after the Android nougat update, my YouTube and play store don't run at all and need to reboot to run these. I don't know whether it is my internet problem or the phone problem but I think my internet is fine. :(

I have problem on choosing honor 8 or p9 since their price is just a little difference. I like to take photos and can someone tell me the difference of them other than the leica branding? Does the leica branding of p9 produce a better outcome?

It's essentially a Honor 8 but on steroid, with a better battery, processor, and screen. It's supposed to cost $450 or so for the 4GB + 64GB storage option and with expandable storage.

I am using this smartphone from last 5 months. guys believe me this phone is best. i like 5.2 display phones. no hanging no any software issue. camera is awesome. battery timing is nice and with fast charge you do not need to worry. before i used samsung and sony smartphone but now i am love in with Huawei. why? because of modified OS. You have full control over your smartphone. You can lock apps via built in app locker. many apps which i used to get from play store these apps are already there. I didnt use One plus but Honor 8 look-wise and speed wise is great. Just get it you will not regret.

But if you got Big Budget why not buy the more monster phone like Sony Xperia XZ which is the 1st Mobile that can record video in 960fps that if you make video slow motion like water drop you will see and watch water slowly drop and shatter with details. and it also use latest processor of Snapdragon, the price is almost x3 or x4 price of honor 8. and if you want another latest phone the need big Budget. Samsung S8 latest release. the look is almost all you touch is Screen. almost near Edge less from both top and bottom. but totally edge less in both sides. use latest processor of Exynos. Both of Them is Water Resistance.
